I think the original well result was published in March 2011. There have been several updates subsequently which have revised the oil in place estimates upwards. It's a bit tedious going back over the rns's as you keep having to hit the "load more" button to go back far enough. Nice to see a few decent sized trades going through this morning on the buy side.

I think it was 3400 bopd (memory a bit rusty as I've been here since the year dot.You can check back about 7 years ago in the rns's for the well results. The gas content is not huge....nothing on the scale of Kinsale. But given that the Seven Heads manifold is just next door to the well location I am certain that Petronas (Kinsale Energy) would be very happy to buy it. Not sure what advantages there are in premium membership. Possibly increased visibility of trades ? Too much of a cheapskate meself to buy it.

Check your facts....there is gas as well as oil. Whitegate has recently been acquired by Irving Oil who are committed to continued operating of the facility and returned a very decent profit lad year.

Supposedly there is an offtake agreement with Shell agreed many years ago. Gas could go into the Kinsale system. Would seem logical to send oil to Whitegate but I think that would require modifications to process plant which is geared to light (non waxy) oil refining.

Therein lies the PRO investment case here!

I'm becomin a bit cheesed off with the lack of progress here. Sp fading and more sellers appearing. Wish oreilly would get his finger out of his bum and get this deal put to bed. Some of us could do with getting a return on our investment here.

I agree....Also buys like that help to move the needle on the SP a lot more than a rake of 500 to a 1000 punters.
