I like what you are saying...Just not trying to raise expectations too much...due to fact that company mcap can be at a discount to NAV. IMO the best thing for shareholders here is a takeover bid at a decent price....opportunity to crystallise value and exit with a decent amount of wonga in me arse pocket.

Interesting. I noticed somebody is trying to build a position over there just now and they had to split their order into 4 or 5 smaller orders to get what they wanted. Obviously had to take a hit on the dealing charges! I got my top up of 150,000 Shares in a couple of days ago in one hit. Farm in must be just around the corner imo.

Hi Rock. I notice you are posting over on PMO as well. I've joined the party over there recently, now that Catcher is in production. Also took a small stake in IOG which is run by some ex Tullow guys and theynseem to have hit the ground running with a discovery under their belts in Italy and some good farm in deals in the UK and with Tullow in Jamaica. Felt the need to diversify a bit and make life more interesting.

I'd go with $3 or more Rock. A dollar is ridiculous with current oil price and pretty benign costs to develop due to shallow water depth and close to shore and other infrastructure. Inch terminal for gas, whitegate oil refinery, potential to use existing Kinsale platforms and pipeline systems etc. I think the long wait is finally over and we'll see this project moving ahead pretty rapidly.

If this potential farminee doesn't hurry up and sign on the dotted line soon....they're going to miss out big time. I can see a line of other interested parties lining up to buy into this asset.

I agree. It's taking a long time to negotiate this potential deal. I hope it is successful in the end. Anybody phoned head office to find out what's going on?

What you are saying seems very reasonable JS. Given that the RNS refers to the exclusivity agreement being reached "earlier in the month"....then we can assume latest date of 22 Dec (having regard for the Christmas holidays). So it follows that if the agreement is for one calendar month, then it expires TODAY. So...news is either very imminent, or else the agreement is for 60 days or something or is being being delayed somewhat ( what's new?). The question I ask is " whose idea was this exclusivity agreement? Was it requested by the incoming potential partner, or was this just some ruse by the PVR board to try to cosy up to a potential company saviour?" Well....time will tell if this all comes to pass or not. One would hope that there is some sense of urgency here and that they will move mountains to get drilling in 2018. Shareholders have been waiting 7 years now for this project to advance and a 2019 drill would be rubbing salt into the wounds. Jmo
