These contracts hardly set the market on fire.

This is my only stock that has consistently produced positive rns after rns but continued to fall for the last 6 months.

Surely there comes a time when the market starts rewarding this.

Wonder if the great UK stock market notices that the last time a contract was awarded in October, the backlog was 505 and now 503, just to be picky.

I'm really baffled by the share price given 3 mai reasons, one, dividend policy upgraded from 40-50% to 50%-60%, two, golden quarter hopefully resulting in a nice special dividend in January, and three, earnings guidance upgraded for FY 25.

Ok leverage marginally up by .1, and NI hit not clarified, but it seems ludicrous that this ftse 100 company is almost 50% down from a year ago.

Can someone clarify if all capital allocation is via share buybacks and special share buyback?

Are dividends likely to be back on the table next year?

Was there not an investor presentation on Friday?

Really depends what the price is Mary, if it does sell, and that's a big if, anything over 1.25 bill $ is circa 1 bill £.

Who knows how the market would react to that.

Could be an initial massive spike before the earnings forecast without NA is worked out for example.

I have zero idea, I just remember when WG announced the sale of their environmental division, there was no major fireworks.

Personally I'm holding for at least another 2-3 years, sale or no sale, I intend to see this entire cycle through.

Yeah I know a significant dae in the case of PFC, but I was just trying to draw a comparison of how shorts increased from approx 2% in Oct 23 to over 10% at year end, significantly increasing before it became obvious of their dure financial position, despite their growing order book ie the Tennet contracts, Algeria contract, worth billions.

And here we are on similar trajectory.

Not saying the same thing here will happen, but I'm very mindful of this almist doubling of shorts post the RNS.

Looking back the bond price halved in the same period at PFC, 75 to 37 ish, then halved again to 15 ish by April 24.

Excuse my ignorance with bonds but if investors were buying bonds for the yield and shorting as a hedge, why did the bond price continue to fall?

Does it work opposite to buying equity?

Ie falls when you buy?
