Does anyone know if this follows the Nasdaq?
I'm trying to work out some logic towards how this performs and it remains a mystery.
Other shares you can get a sense of what they're doing, eg travel and leisure, Mining etc, but this just moves on nothing obvious.
There seems to have been a tech sell off the last few days and this seems to have followed.
I keep holding and have averaged down today to 320, just hope the trading update in 2 weeks helps lift sentiment. Nothing positive even the last trading update has managed to move this North.

I emailed IR in December asking for an update on ADNOC and received this response.

Apologies for the delay. Afonso addressed this in the trading update call, which you are free to listen to. Details for the call are on the press release on the website.

We hope to be back in the UAE soon and we are positively engaged with ADNOC. It is not possible to give precise guidance on when this will be as the timing is not in our control.

I'm sick to death of hearing about the stretched NHS, let's be honest they moan every year, blah blah blah, who cares if 300 people died between Xmas eve and yesterday, I bloody well don't anymore..what about all the restaurants, pubs, retail shops, coffee bars, hairdressers, and their futures and livelihoods. What about the the thousands and thousands of people who are going to due because they couldn't get an early cancer diagnosis, what about the general mental wellbeing of everyone that lives alone.
Sick death of hearing it, there's more to this country and our lives than protecting the NHS.
Feeling proper resentful now.

Yeah its leaving a bit of " got mugged off with 115 entitlement price" taste in my mouth recently.

Just when the santa rally lifts us up, in 24 hours back right down under 300 again. FFS.

Most of them are deluded and take it personally when someone is realistic about the reality of CINEs situation.
Wouldn't worry about Boohoo either, very little or minimal debt there, and when people get back to normal, there will be pent up demand for fashion, going out etc.

Bear in mind I bought more of those just after CINE crashed so the % increase is a lot more than the last 5 days.

I used the proceeds to buy more Micro focus / NEX / Network international which I also hold, check my history, and then look at how they have performed over the last 5 days.

As I said I've reduced that loss from 70k to 24k today, so no big deal really, and that will be further reduced next Wed and Thursday where everything will rise except CINE, and then I will buy back in tge low 30s and start again

For me it is a good decision, as I type that 70k loss is now only 24k because of gains today, if I had held CINE I would be 64k down as only recovered 3p from my sell price.
And I would place a wager that between next Wed and Friday lu chtime when the markets close for the year, that the 70k loss from CINE is nearly all gained back, and CINE will still be between 32 -34 if you're lucky.
Then when I have made up the loss which is currently only 24k now, I will buy CINE back probably still in the early 30s.
So a good decision, and loads less stress.

I sold out for a 70k loss after the court case, and as gutting as it felt at the time, best thing I did.
Re-invested the proceeds in others I was also down on, and now that 70k loss is only 34k.
People can hold hold hold and hold but you're missing other opportunities. Typically the markets always rise the last 5 working days of the year and that has proved to be the case, except this one. Says it all really.

Santa rally for the long suffering holders!

Yeah that would make sense, they're often long and short.

I've not heard of this company that has started a short. They seem more like an academic geek type hedge fund having looked at their website.
I must admit I didn't expect a new short at these prices.

Well at least the clown hasn't been bullied into further restrictions today.
But who knows by Wednesday.
It's getting to the point whereby the NHS and scientists are trying to hold the country to ransom, and given that there is no evidence of increased admissions and severity, I think people have had enough of that broken record.

Probably the impact of rising cases in the US.
Doubt they will close the border now because its running riot everywhere.
About time they just stopped trying to control the uncontrollable, no vaccine no NHS, and stop these scientists putting fear into the nation.

Stay at home protect the NHS, save lives!
This was the message to get the public on board with lockdown at the beginning.
Well it's looking more and more like that any further lockdown will be solely about the NHS, certainly not looking like increasing deaths will be a valid reason.
That is setting a dangerous precedent for every year when NHS leaders complain about being stretched. We can't bring the country to a halt everytime they get stretched, its becoming farcical.
At the beginning of the year NEX was increasing during lockdown, wouldn't be surprised if that happens again as long as goverment are clear with their messaging about the way forward.

Everything closed, this mini rally probably over, to follow in the US in a few weeks.
