POO is forecast to keep rising, but the momentum with this without any RNS factors speaks volumes.

Full year results should be March, date TBC, going by last year. So could tread water at these levels until then like it did pre the August update.

Couldn't agree more, it's just that niggling feeling that City remain unconvinced.

After such a good update in August, organic growth for first time in 6 years etc etc, it would have to one enormous u turn to then say transformation is not on track. So hopefully its their work is done as opposed to they need someone new.
It is like deja vu again prior to the August update, and personally when I first read that December update, it didn't read very upbeat and the comments around covid impacting didn't help.

It's only closed above 38 on 1 day since 13th December.

Can't break above 38, tabloid bad press again, it's making me wonder is the turnaround stumbling or on track. Just feel very uneasy about this as is going nowhere.

Rising business costs must be considered in their forecast of at least 500 million profit, and consumer disposable income is valid but do both of those warrant such a drop on Thursday and Friday.
Hopefully it will settle soon.

Dividend

In April 2020, the Board suspended the payment of the final dividend in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the fall in oil prices. The Board recognises the importance of dividends to shareholders and expects to reinstate them in due course, once the company's performance has improved, in line with our dividend policy. Under the terms of the new debt facilities, the company will be permitted to pay dividends from 1 January 2023, subject to the satisfaction of certain covenant tests.

 

Not selling this one this year for sure, I am half expecting a bit of a pullback, but this recent rise has been on the back of nothing, so as you say one contract/ adnoc etc and that will be massive.
However, Gazprom could also be massive going forward which is why I wondered.
Plus I'm sure they said dividend possibilities end 22 beginning 23, so all being well, that would really catapult this back big time.

Was just thinking about the Gazprom tie up, that's all.

I've emailed IR to ask if a pre close update is due or whether nothing until results, meaning it will be allowed to continuously drift down.
I just don't get it, transport stocks picked up, the goverment App probably won't happen for a while yet, France, Germany, Italy and Spain all open, what the hell is going on.

My problem is I buy back in, again and again too quick, thinking its bottomed, but alway falls a it further.
