Comparing wood group to this from Jan 17th is chalk and cheese.
It's almost like a really damning RNS was released Jan 17th, makes no sense whatsoever.

Just to follow on, take CINE as a comparable, same market cap 517m, slightly less shares in issue 1364 m, revenue pre covid 4000 ish m, but nearly 9 billion in debt.
Ok CPI revenue approx 1 billion less give or take, debt only ballpark 900m currently, slightly more shares in issue, how can the market cap be the same, makes no sense.

That makes good sense.
It could even Bob around these low levels for this year until it is proven that the debt is significantly reduced (materially) and they are generating free cash to enough to restart dividends.
I'm really hoping that as long as they show the debt reduction in the results, that even if there is a setback with the transformation of Capita experience and/or excessive inflationary costs, that it is all priced in already. A company with revenue this size, with minimal debt, to have a market cap where it is seems ludicrous really.

At some point despite bear market sentiment, and constant doom and gloom, companies that are producing such as this, or making materially visible steps to improve such as CPI, surely will be recognised by the markets.
I mean shorts on this for example must have a good exit point to close before March results at todays prices, will be interesting to see if any actually reduce before March.
The DPO addition has never been appreciated by the markets, at some point probably when the FTSE is in freefall on some day, this will explode, wishful thinking!!

It would seem that no matter what day the markets are having, red or blue and no matter how positive an RNS is released, that this is just going consistently down.
All January it's been constant with no bounce at all.

You can tell this new poster is full of s--t when he needs to add "severely" affected by covid.

Could potentially be near debt free by year end, as long as they don't report further decline in experience, they show some kind of profit, and the pension review that was mentioned in previous results don't materially impact the cash position, then this will almost rerate on a fresh basis, surely!!

I'm with you CPI, TRN and this, massively down on these 3, more than any others, just fearful UK could follow US into bear market territory.

When you put it like that, it reduces some of the fear, although not easy to take all the time.
Just one thought, given the amount of disposals which aren't finished yet, would that make this a less likely takeover target?

Apart from March 20 crash, this is back to 2017 levels, why is this so weak?
Even on days when the Nikkei is positive this falls.

Surely not on trading updates and growth forecasts, doesn't make senses.
Cinecis riddled with debt, has a big court case just gone against it, makes a bit of sense, but why this one. Can't work out what I'm missing.

City clearly not impressed, so why should we be ?
Just hope that the results are more upbeat, show a reduction in debt, and they are doing what they forecast.

The only thing that makes any sense to me is that they are yet to make a profit possibly, therefore this is lumped in with tech companies that are being sold off.
Further info about the goverment app is also due at some point best scenario is for goverment to use a tech partner such as trainline in developing the app, and also awaiting an update on the rail delivery review which they have been part off.
I'm 25% down so will just hold this, hopefully will come good eventually.

My worst investment over last 6 months.
It seems the markets are listening to negative broker forecasts and ignoring the positive ones.

Very weak in a positive market, WG up, Oil up, this seems to be really struggling in the absence of news.

No bounce at all here, again FTSE doing well, Dow and Nas up, and nothing here.
Same on a few of my shares, wish I could understand the logic behind what it would actually take for this to rebound a little, in the absence of news.

It's so frustrating when you invest in a good company seemingly going places, and it's allowed to be played so much.
Remember the reaction to last year's results in March, it was heavily rewarded , and despite sustaining growth and consistent TUs, its no where near where it was then.

It's a joke of a share really, or completely manipulated by crooks.
Every other payment sector company well up today, PayPal, visa wise, and this will end red.
Why on this sort of volume on such a positive day.
Can't wait to get out of this.
