B----y frustrating when there seems to be no bounce at all, it seems to follow saipem when that's down, or follow wood when that's down.

They released results after close which is why the Nas rebounded somewhat after hours.

Funny how Barclays downgrade and it tanks, but we get an upgrade today and sweet FA.
The constant sell offs on the Nas are horribly impacting all UK companies that have the slightest tech element to them.
Probably any company with high and worrysome debt is also going to tread water given the monthly rhetoric on inflation and interest rates.
UK markets are absolutely horrible right now.
Personally I'm writing the entire year off to even get back to break even accross my portfolio.

I'm 20k down here on 30k shares, I'm selling for a loss again. I sold CINE for a loss mainly because of their debt and invested it elsewhere to make up the 70k loss. Well I reduced that loss to 20k in a few weeks so felt vindicated, but now back down 70k again in total.
It feels like robbing Peter to pay Paul trading in these markets, so a new company that has most broker targets over 400, I'm just going to hold through, and feel it maybe a case of just writing this year off. Eventually things will turn for the better.

Hopefully that's all it is, to tweak the books as a positive spin.
The news just keeps getting worse every day, and for an oil related company that should be benefiting from higher oil prices, the 10% plus drop this week is hard to swallow.
Someone posted on the other board maybe they are holding the positive RNS for after that one dropped, wishful thinking.

Looking at Wise group I think this performed similarly, but like you say whatever type of day the markets are having, good or bad this has little support. Even the trading updates as positive as they are have no impact.
The only possible thing could be weak UAE markets because Yemen is chucking bombs there.
It beggars belief that this is lower than the March 20 crash, and not much higher than the 200 lows of October 20.
When they report increased revenue ( projected 351 million) and hopefully a profit for the year, the markets can't ignore that.
If I sold now I would lose 18k o 30k shares, so for me that's not an option.

Wouldn't be surprised to see another major sell off now, Russian fighter jets, US troops, tensions in Ukraine, UAE bombings, markets have recovered generally this week both here and in the US, except PFC going the other way.
Gaps aside, we could easily be sub 110 tomorrow.
Incredible these are the same levels as pre SFO conclusion.

Actually it is a bit concerning that in the Dec update they said fy21 net debt expected to be broadly flat compared to half year.

And then this statement from the recent disposal RNS.
It marks another significant step towards materially reducing our debt, as we continue to simplify and strengthen Capita, and become a more successful business for the long term.

It makes you wonder why is net debt expected to be broadly flat with over 700 mill of disposals, and why is this just a step towards materially reducing debt ?

Maybe I'm reading into that too much but he did say it's a step towards not a step in materially reducing debt.

However in a recent email from Stuart Morgan he illuded to possibly markets expecting net debt reduction in December, from monies not received until January.

If debt isn't shown as materially reduced, and monies have been used as working capital, I dread to think how markets will respond.

Funny really because some analyst views were bullish on PFC because of increased oil prices, but guess its all of the above now.

Well he did make quite a big deal about dividends in the 6 month update, emphasising recognition of its importance to shareholders, also stating 1st January.
Yeah there's been no contract news for months really, hopefully an RNS will drop at anytime.
The bombing I UAE could actually be having more of an impact than is obvious.

I was just looking under the fundamentals section here, should have looked at in more depth report.
Re-assuring to hear that, because after all these exceptional are taken off, there should hopefully be free cashflow to restart dividends next year as forecast in the 6 month update.
It's got to be worth a hold we'll into next year based on dividend reinstatement, and prior that build up of order book this year.

Below is a section from the TU in December, and last year 2020 in fundamentals showed a loss of 189 million for that period.
Does that mean they expect a full year loss similar to last year?
