I bought into what I thought was an investment not a short term trade.
With the benefit of hindsight I should have sold at 210 as you say.
My target was 230.

pile of crap 13 months ago in the depths of lockdown.
You would have thought by now it would have recovered and made a decent profit by now.
As it stands today I'm 2% down from then whilst the useless Twonks "running" the show have had huge bunus payments for crap performance.

If it's not sold before the war in Ukraine is resolved and the world ease sanctions on Russia BP could either keep it ( not likely) or achieve a bigger return in an unforced sale.
It may take years but it would still be an asset eventually.

I think it's a great RNS, one hole to test the limits of the porphry, one to further prove up the resource.

Still not seen mine from Barclays, they take money promptly however !

Looking at the majority of trades it seems its just the furlough traders panic selling their £1k worth.
The oil price will dip on better news for Ukraine but it will bounce back and so will the SP.
Hold for (black) gold.

Still not seen mine either, Barclays waffle about being a retail bank they can't pay with their own cash like other brokers.
If not received in 10 days they will escalate the search for my money, they seem to be good at taking money for something they don't have though !

Well I'm pleased to see the reaction to my post, it lines up with what I want to believe and I haven't sold a share.
I suppose the reality for me is my portfolio has dropped off a lot this last few weeks for obvious reasons and having a bearish mental attitude overall got me thinking of worst case scenarios.
Personally I'm hoping for minimum 20p if and when the sale is confirmed, I'm not here for a quick 10% either, I was nearly 400% up on the spike last year but didn't sell, just bought more and increased my average significantly in the process.
It doesn't hurt to be cautious.
