AA could buy this almost as a tax limitation purchase based on their profits last year, sit on it until they need it or the price of copper goes up. There is always a bigger fish and what we see as a priority is their option financially.
It isn't nearly such a big deal to them as it is to us.

I will be dribbling in the nursing home by the time SOLG get into production at Alpala, and hopefully the dribbling won't start for another 25 years.
By then my stake here will buy me a couple of days in there instead of two weeks at Sandy Lane for the wife and I this year.
Open cut may well be achievable in 12-18mths but how are we going to get the copper out of the area, helicopter ?

Whatever your position on the housing market, it's already cooling and I think it will stall and drop more than it's gained in the last two years if we have a recession. The cost of living will be the catalyst I think.
