Theaky, I do hope you are correct, we will have to wait until the new year to find out although I rather think that other factoors looming may change the SP just as much.

If that's the case my BP investment will be going into Shell and I suspect a few others will do the same before the Sp drops again.

If you sell you will realise that loss, so at this moment in time it's a 40% loss, paper or otherwise.
