I have had a long held idea that CB could use profits from XTR to help his other AIM vehicles.

To be clear I'm not suggesting he is using XTR money directly to do this but today he subscribed £15k for 60,000,000 Bezant sharesas part of a large placing. Each share gets a warrant exercisable at 0.06 pence per ordinary share for three years from Admission for each Fundraising Share issued. Bezant also sold him these shares ( and other lucky people) at a 29% discount.

As we were discussing at the weekend, it's not what you know, it's who you know.........

He did give himself a payrise at XTR of £30k this year though.

Yes, placings are an opportunity for brokers friends and family to buy cheap shares that are often presold into the market before they are issued and paid for. Free money that the lowly PI pays for in dilution. I wouldn't call them more knowledgeable than the PI's, just in a more fortunate position to buy.

Why would we need a placing when we are alledgedly making millions a year in gold in a rising market ?

I agree it would be naive to think CB would have a placing even though in a normal business model we wouldn't need to because we are earning well. This is the Wild West though and there are cowboys and outlaws everywhere. The SP is a direct result of mistrust in the Bird, why else are we valued at about 30% of what we should be ?

Delivering shareholder value should be easy.

Bird could do a lot for the SP now just by broadcasting how much money we are raking in every month.

It's entirely possible he has decided to go silent is because he IS spunking gold money in Zambia and by the time we find out it's gone it'll be too late.

This company has a history of buying in haste, finding out they've been sold a pup yet don't complain and just suck up the loss and never speak of it again. In what circumstances would a BOD dismiss such losses and move swiftly on ?
