POG now 2465 - even stronger

Gold outlook really positive - central bank and Asian buying. JV's on two of our high grade projects and a third in advanced negotiation with local partners/businesses who understand our countries of operation and inherent gold demand gold. Excited about the development curve as we look to become a producing entity.

Unfortunately there is another possible outcome here and one I sincerely hope does not occur - at some point the company fails or is delisted. Sometimes investor hope is overpowering and some would rather lose everything than incur a large partial loss. I am not advocating anything at this stage other than new money entering at this point must be considered a pure high odds gamble.

Haven't major investors stepped in at this stage to force a change of leadership?

Interesting - I wonder whether his comments caused a few to panic and are now regretting it. Hopefully they can make good if so with the gains to come.

Howtofish - you might well be correct on the purchase being worked - my platform will given instant quotes to take £7500 worth but to buy above £1K goes to NT

I still hope that you are correct with the big purchaser or this mornings bounce might just be a reflection of the small amount of stock out there. Lets see.

Bouncing back - people know a bargain when they see one imo. One of the few blue stocks on my list this morning.

I have never seen a clause that would mean a director had to sell upon leaving a BoD - hard to imagine a reason why that clause would ever be put in. I would also imagine in that event it would also come under the heading of directors dealings for market disclosure even if they were not technically directors at that time - just my thoughts and not based on facts.

I think many England fans in Jersey will be thankful that the King and Queen are visiting on Monday - we now have a public holiday. I think whatever the result there might be a few sore heads Monday!

I can get instant quotes on £5k trade - 1.32 / 1.37.

Not big trades today posted of significant value and given the size of instant quotes I am not smelling a big background order (might be wrong) and therefore MMs might be accumulating or just a reflection of algorithms on small volume? Just pontificating as I have no idea really.

I do know that I’m waiting on much more tangible news than an intraday SP movement so making a conscious decision to start the weekend early and disregard.

Anyone with plans for Sunday evening?

As we wait for the hoped for Kochang JV RNS to stop I thought I would spend a few minutes looking at the directors holdings to see whether the recent board changes would significantly impact the Boards holding - in summary it doesn't with Aidan and Colin holding the lions shares.

I then had a look at some of the TR1'a and hadn't made the connection before between the Jennings and Align Research (I have been slow on the uptake). Given they hold 9.3% of the stock, when Align tweet I suggest you take notice - he will have his finger on the pulse closer than anyone outside the BoD.

I did have a quick glance at the now historic briefing (2022) that Align did and whilst things have moved on it does continue some low level information that the recent company briefing doesn't.

At the moment the SP is being influenced by small volumes - I suggest that the real controlling power of the SP lays within a few large holders and given the requirement for a TR1 is 5% and not the usual 3% given the location of the company in the BVI, there might be more 'larger' holders than one might initially think - just under the radar. Pure speculation on my part.

Jennings / Align was right to highlight the POG breaching $2400 again - DYOR and consider where the POG might be when we start production.

Its a good board at the moment UpsDowns - we have chatted about the pros and cons of the herd arriving. Feels a certain inevitability about it given the potential here so enjoy the peace whilst it lasts.
