Read widely about gold - the dollar - the need for the Fed to lower interest rates and the subsequent impact on Gold. It might seem a stretch but $3K by the end of the year is no longer in the fantasy category of outcomes.

10p ….plus 10p?

Just spotted their tweet from yesterday commenting on Aidan being interim CEO and speculating on a big gold hitter joining or wholesale sale of the company.

At this point what would the sale price be? I would want 10p plus personally

HE1 - I am not invested I hasten to add in case anyone thinks this is a cross ramp - just interesting to watch from the sidelines for investor behaviour learning.

100% CrustyPete - I made the same comments in a earlier post at 08.36 this morning under the heading Investing and Trading - here is what I wrote and nothing has changed:

Invest - understand the operation, consider the potential, chose your buy in and hold until official news causes you to alter your view. Open ended timelines are critical and only invest what you can write off.

Stick to your opinion and research - humans influence each other for their personal benefit in all walks of life. If you find yourself in doubt understand why you are in doubt. Disregard SP movements unless you have decided on top up / sell out limits that you established in the cold light of day - write these down and refer to them when you get news in case they need recalibrating.

Time is your friend - let it play out.

I started writing when the google price showed 1.14 and it was starting to hesitate - it's now 1.09 - it might be a ripple and continue back upwards or might drop to the previous low or lower. I have no idea. I just use this situations as further learning lessons for the future in any stock.

Craignews - I wish you well and hope you keep the gains. Just commenting on the sidelines about investor behaviour and I repeat, nothing to do with the potential of the stock here.

I posted about the potential for a dead cat bounce here. It has nothing to do with the potential of the stock at all - it is down to human nature. On a dramatic drop people think that drop has to be over done - what a great buy in price - even though they may not have purchased at 0.8, they now think that purchasing at 1.14 is a sure fire way to make money because it was in excess of 1.3 just earlier and the Helium is still in the ground etc. Then those who brought in just now around 1.05 think they they can exit and make 10 to 15% - that creates another downwards impetus and second wave of selling. Might happen her and might not but do not confuse the SP movement with the project - its mainly about FOMO and then just F.

Some interesting volatility at the moment on another share with a lot of speculative interest - that is the power of the herd - lets hope we never see that happen here.

Word of caution - that might well be or it could be a dead cat bounce. I am not suggesting this is dead but there are a lot of unknowns at present with future funding being an obvious one. Tread carefully and give yourself lots of time.

Extract from today's RNS:

In this regard, our project manager, Graeme Fulton, a mining engineer with over 30 years of industry experience, and I met with our prospective partners last week and agreements are now in the final drafting stage."

It will be interesting to see the final % and $ amount involved.

MMs react to investor behaviour in the main and they make money by being one step ahead and being ready to fulfil a need. The small spread shows their risk perspective and if the LSE number of 2.3% is correct, that is on the low side. So buys and sells in roughly equal measure and the MM's are happy to take a smaller % cut on the delta but gain with the volume.

I'm not sure we have anyone here with a background in mining - but stand to be corrected and it would be great to get some technical insights. If I speak for myself I have been here for a number of years and have interests in other gold ventures and each project has it's own challenges from funding to permits and beyond. Sometimes you can read across from experience but normally the only read across is from investor behaviour and the sentiment on these boards which can easily become fractious to say the least.

In my view the herd is very much a double edged sword Boldicus and if as I hope, the strategy plays out here at BMV, there is an inevitability that it will arrive. As you say it will increase the value but unfortunately the quality of posts here will drop more than proportionality to the value increase.

Now is the time (my personal view) to not only take stakes in the business but a note of time served investors and posters who will continue to be a beacon of sense in what could easily become a myriad of nonsense, such as you are experiencing elsewhere. Humans at their finest are remarkable but there is something about anonymous chat boards that embolden people to show their dark sides - its very sad and in my view, without getting too deep, our basic tribal / survival instincts and maybe a reflection of wider social unrest, stress and pressure, leads many to using a powerful communication tool for the worst of uses.

Anyway after my sobering diatribe, here's to continued good chats and shared expectations in what I hope will turn into an extremely profitable company.

Longer as you say - over 7 years now. I think this is going to be one of those stocks that will turn into an overnight magnet for the herd and yet it will have been years in the making.

A correction to my post on rereading the RNS - it is Colin who will be retaining an NED position - equally important however given his experience.

Very much looking forward to the hoped for 3rd JV announcement and of course news of the mountain permit for Kochang - knowing that everyone wants to fast track and given the initial estimate of 6 to 9 months from permit to trial mining which is an incredibly short timeline in mining terms.

Incredibly exciting and imo no better time to take a stake in this potential.
