I do not know whether I am alone but another late top up last night just before close is still not showing and I am struggling to get a quote for anything of any size this morning. I will keep trying though.

Interesting that they have just posted the £70K trade from the 19th - down as a sell but looking at the price at the time, this looks like a buy to me. Phoenix - agree with you comments - just glad I was able to add a number of top ups today at these prices.

Very difficult to buy any volume here without it going to a nego trade - very limited stock it would seem.

As usual you can not trust the buy or sell narrative - my other purchase just showed as a sell. I feel this is just the start of the recovery towards past highs.

Indeed - I can tell you for a fact that not all purchases are being recorded on this site at the moment. I could not resist a couple of top ups at these levels and with the momentum underway by the BoD. One is there but the other isn't. Not sure why but I have the shares so I am happy.

The only changes have been positive:
28th Jan - Newcrest announced new targets outside of the immediate vicinity of the Havieron deposit, but within the Havieron Joint Venture area, have been identified with the potential to conduct drill testing of these targets in the future.

1/2 Our former CEO put his money where his mouth is and brought another 500K shares at 22.4p (note today's price)

18/2 Our new CEO announces an application for a new licence in the Patterson: quote: We are pleased to apply for the new Canning licence which will expand our footprint in the Paterson region and build on our exploration momentum in this region. The licence application area contains the bulk of a large magnetic 'bullseye' anomaly similar to the one located over the Havieron deposit. This fits in with our strategy of seeking to discover tier 1 gold-copper deposits. We look forward to reporting progress on the application in due course."

All good here. News and price movements are not in sync at the moment - but they will be - just give it time.

Both sides want a deal. We are not talking hostile action here. My money remains on them reaching a deal.

I see SAU have just announced an investor presentation for Feb 23rd. - I expect our deal to be concluded by then unless they are going to address it in the presentation as 'ongoing negotiations' which might be a tad embarrassing given the time elapsed.

So not just that talks are ongoing - but making 'very good progress'. If that is a verbatim comment then it works for me!

Can I suggest that genuine investors here need to truly understand what the SW drills holes are trying to achieve and manage their own expectations on what the results could be and perhaps redefine what good and bad results would be. To my mind having listened to the GH interview and watched Magic's presentation, it is clear to me that if results include pathfinder elements, then these are GOOD results - they add to the geo's understanding and help to hone into specific areas for the next phase of exploration drilling. I am not personally expecting large significant grades - those would be exceptional results - great if it happens but unlikely at this stage from what I can glean. The lead up to the first set of SW results had us in a state of high expectation on the back of Hav - I think that we now have a greater understanding of just how unique the Hav journey has been and continues to be.

For anyone wanting reassurance from their 'Dad' - this is as close as you are going to get folks.

Whilst the fall is not pleasant to watch unless you were looking to sell in the near future, then it is immaterial. Many on here seem to be in danger of working themselves into a frenzy of doubt and calling for the new CEO to invest smacks of despair frankly. He knows there is gold at Hav, Newcrest knows there is gold at Hav - we all know that there is gold in Hav and so does the market. The SP movements have nothing to do with anything other than people playing with money and not with the fundamentals of this company. I strongly advise people to stop watching unless they have the sea legs for choppy waters - go below deck and sleep this one out. Sunshine and fair winds will return and the sea sickness will be a faded memory - but learn from these times for the next storm - there will be more to come and that's ok.

Just a gentle reminder. Unless you have a stop loss, the only person who can sell is you. No one's positions - loss or gain is crystallised until you sell. Chose wisely.

People might well laugh at what I am about to say but I am a believer in deciding how I am going to react to certain situations - and a drop such as we have seen in GGP is a case in point. We knew this was going to be a wild ride - we also know (as far as we can) where the direction of travel is and where we hope and expect to be in 2 to 3 years time (part of producing mine). So I know with a high level of certainty that volatility such as we are seeing now will continue to happen - that is what a proportion of investors thrive on. I continue to just sit on my holding because I have an uncanny knack of getting timings wrong whenever I try and be clever and so I have learned to do nothing and let the workers in Western Australia do all the work for me.
I enjoyed the ride into the 30's and I an going to enjoy it again - I just don't get phased with the falls anymore. So I chose to view the movements as multiple opportunities to get a little buzz from a blue close and I disregard the red. Many will look upon my viewpoint as simplistic and even childish but in terms of how it makes me feel, it works for me. Mind games can be played internally as well as externally - I play my games internally to my personal advantage whilst being honest with myself. You can not control the SP - just your reaction to it.
