I hear what you say but my understanding is the POG has been removed from the index and so all the shares sold, which requires the funds that were invested in POG to be redistributed amongst the rest of the constituents causing all members weighting’s to rise. If that is wrong and POG remains in the index, or was never in it, I stand corrected.

Josh, well I disagree with you. Were you around when GDXJ/VanEck bought their two initial parcels? Clumsy, lazy, ignorant would be some of the words that I would use to describe their actions. Not sure they have learnt much. Soon after their purchases I sold out of GDXJ as I didnt want to be with any organisation who was so profligate with my money....

Listen to Craig Hemke and my favourite technical analyst, Chris Vermuelen, on the Sprott Money monthly precious metals projections podcast. It also covers the general commodity boom. Hemke can be a bit annoying but I really like Chris.
