All those who were concerned that SD was getting in at a MASSIVE discount, well he wasnt. Now you can align yourself with management, just as you were complaining yesterday that you couldnt.
If you really want to know whats going on I suggest you read and re read Academy's posts. He/She seems to understand what is happening here and can see the big picture. Brilliant stuff.
Also TT and Bamps have the finger on the pulse too.
Sadly a lot of others who are just small PIs will get burnt, as they always do. I genuinely feel sorry for them and wish I could help, but the malevolent forces are swamping the reasoned debate.

Evening Sonny. That’s such a simple question but virtually impossible to answer! Timeframe for starters and definition of success (sp or business).

Maybe all the geniuses out there who think they could have handled this better, could explain how they would have raised £10-15m? A reasonable amount of knowledge about cash raising is required but I am assuming you all have that box ticked.

Yes it appears to be open ended.
The PI part through PrimaryBid closes at 9pm. I have seen other companies use PB and they all closed at 9pm. Its nice and tidy and better than the old slow methods where shares are suspended imo.
Most overseas retail investors cant apply. Certainly not those in NA. Plus only via PB.

Knocky. I am hoping that it will act like a teaser introductory offer. Get them in cheap for a starter amount.

Tymers, I often struggle to agree with you, but today you are spot on!

I think this is excellent news. Tiny discount for a fund raising. Chance to bring in some new instos. SD and others putting some money in. Little chance of instos expecting a further raise in the short term, so if they want in they are going to have to pay the market price. Funded till bank debt and/or the 5% sale.
If there has been a short attack based on this story, maybe they will now close out.
I am happy and relaxed.

If you work in the mining industry I would think there is a fair chance that you might have worked for the largest mining company in the world at some stage. So I wouldnt attribute any conspiracy theories to it.

TT, as an ex commodity trader I find this fascinating.
If you add in the massive cost of fertiliser, partly due to the gas prices, food prices will be much higher next year. Brazil will have a huge slump in their crop yields. Then add in weird weather events which mean too hot, too cold, too dry, floods and that will just layer in more problems.
Speedy who is often ahead of everyone on these things, will be feeding his friends and family from his new small holding....

Mickey, Chris Vermuelen is one of my favourite chartists. I have never heard him so bullish on gold and GDXJ. Also like David Brady on the shorter timeframes. Gold is from about 13mins...

Its great that we are now classed as a developer and can capitalise our expenditure. No more hits to the p&l and maybe its another box ticked for those nervous instos...

The difference in the two dates is that some thought it will be Dec as thats the anniversary of the first MRE. The other date of February is when NC do their annual resource announcement.
The good news is that the later it is, the bigger the number!
