Definitely an old presentation dated mid Nov. We know that Alpala wont be 2-3 times what it was in MRE2 as NM said maybe 20% more thats all.

Does anyone think it matters whether the PEA or drilling etc news is released (and sp moves) prior to the formal offer for CGP? If they do, could they explain why please?

addicknt. I realise that. As this wasnt a post balance sheet event what you are saying is that all 180km of drilling was done by end Dec? I dont think that is possible.

GV. I am more confused than ever now! The MRE RNS released Nov 20 stated that 133576m were drilled using 128 drill holes. The NI 43-101 dated Jan 3rd stated that 173076m were drilled using 115 drill holes. Is that consistent and if so how?

FR. Well firstly they shouldnt announce info in the interims (that are as at end dec 2018), that have happened after the interim date. And secondly just shows how many metres of drill results we are 'owed'.
IMO its misleading and thats naughty.

The AGM statement of 20/12 stated that over 160km had been drilled and they were going at up to 10.5km per mo. Cant see anything more recent than that.

Thanks FR. I had sort of done the fag packet numbers myself. I know GV has a s/sheet on the drilling so was looking for something more accurate.
If yours/mine are right 180km could have only been done by a date this year (and is now going at a rate >10km per/mo). So why wasnt this reported in the subsequent events and not in the half yearly report to Dec 2018? I have asked Anna for clarification.

Do we think that the 180km of drilling is at 31 Dec as no drilling was mentioned in the 'subsequent events'? If so this would suggest that there is another 6 weeks of drilling results.
Maybe GoldenVeg can tell us whether 180km was possible by end of 2018.

Obviously it would be a lot easier to sell the whole of ENSA rather than 85% of it, if the intention was to keep the difficult to value exploration upside. Plus I am sure that no-one would want CGP as a minority in anything the prospective buyer does!

Of course the thing that would probably seal the deal for SOLG would be to get a drilling permit.....

In addition to what addicknt has posted below, what I noticed from this latest tit for tat was they didnt mention their 'rights' to any of the other prospects this time. But the did plead for the PEA to be released. I would say thats good news on both fronts.

Yep its just an opinion and its mine! Others will see it differently and thats absolutely fine by me too. In fact I am much more interested to read why its such a great announcement and then maybe the posters can change my mind.
The trouble for me is that this spat between NM and the CGP board is getting personal and when it does, all reason seems to go out the window. Its clear that the CGP board arent going to roll over so just make the offer to the s/h, see what they say and move on.

I think this is a truly awful RNS. It smacks of the childrens playground. Surely as a separate company, how the CGP directors behave is of no relevance to Solgold. In fact, the worse they behave surely gives Solgold an edge. Given how many other important things we are expecting them to announce this is becoming a major distraction and quite honestly, pathetic. What the hell are the corp advisers doing sanctioning this rant.
My question is why are they doing this and my worry would be that its something that I wont want to hear. I am sure many others would disagree with me but thats how I see it.
NM needs to put up or shut up on this matter and for gods sake move on.

My guess is that the best case PEA would both be likely to solicit a bid AND be the best chance for building, so they are really the same.
I am pretty sure I was told that the PEA would be in Jan, but not 100%. So it has slipped a bit, though I am not sure CGP announcement had anything to do with it, as the two things would have been prepared by different groups. with NM sign off.
So I will guess that they are adding more data, like another MRE or some more drilling results, or better interpretation. Its been a while since we have had any of those.

MMs will have a daily mark to market p&l. Nothing is ever 'unrealised'.

New to this stock (I am a SOLGer!). Like the announcement, the interview - and the retracement! So have dipped my toe with a few million. Will need to get up to speed quickly as this is one volatile share!
