If a bid/jv were to materialise, wouldnt it make sense for it to be with Rios, who are in the area, or NCM, than the other too, one of whom is Barrick not Berrick!
I cant see any point investing in this. Wide bid/ask, ridiculous price, sg&a double figure % of mkt cap. Really shouldnt be quoted. I wont be investing, nor commenting on this again. GLA
Does anyone know how long it will take to drill deeper holes with the two new rigs? Firstly if the company re-entered the old holes and secondly if they drill fresh holes. Obviously would depend how deep they went, but does anyone know how deep these new rigs can go? Also what is the turn around time for assays in WA? My guess (and it is only a guess) is that we are unlikely to get assay results till June.
I am new to looking at this company. Struggling with how this company can survive with such a huge SG&A when compared to its mkt cap. It is effectively self liquidating via paying management such huge sums. Unless something happens that I am not aware of, it will be bust in a couple of years. Where are the returns for the ordinary s/holder?
Hey S4! Twice zero is still zero, I object! I have Mr 11,000 filtered for my own sanity so cant see the rude things he has said. On a slightly more interesting topic someone posted about Steve Garwin and his thoughts 'by the end of the year'. If I recall this was a speech from pre MRE2 days and so it referred to end 18. I may be wrong and happy to be corrected. On the SP game from that excellent poster addicknt, I think I would take £2 too. At last I can get my villa in Majorca. If its 50p it will be a flat in Bognor....
HL have got some problems today. I have made 5 trades and every one of them they have the wrong way round, incl my purchase of 500k earlier this morning.
In the wake of the major consolidation thats happened and happening I wonder whether NCM would look at picking up some tiddlers in their back yard as a both defensive and offensive move?
has become ever so dull. Dont people realise that a reaction is what most of these types thrive on. I have had Dose and Bottomz filtered for some time and it reduces the amount of rubbish, but sadly not the reactions. I would have thought the Barrick/Newmont deal would have been a lot more interesting discussion. Probably takes out two potential bidders at a stroke, but puts the world on notice that consolidation in mining is the theme for this year.
