Jk. Good summary. I am not sure current liquidity should put off instos. Beetham bought that amount by being patient. If the instos buy it would automatically improve liquidity too. If there isn’t the liquidity, you probably will have a nice profit instead.

Say Hav Is drilled out but NC want to go into scally but they can’t agree terms with GH, cos he naturally has got greedy. NC then would just say to GH if you don’t do a deal we will just buy you!

GH talked about how the depth of cover at scally was tiny compared to hav. I think he was talking 50m or less.
As has been said, no way that NC will drill scally w/o a formal agreement. And as ggp drilling there as priority , prob March/April I can’t see the point either.

If memory serves me telfer was a 30myn oz resource at one time.
There is a report out by Janus Henderson on Aussie quoted gold miners. Mentions Havieron, ggp and newcrest. Published 22/11. Nothing earth shattering and more historic but all helps.

My model (piece of paper, pen and a ruler), using the incline shape from the Newcrest press release last Monday would add 10% to the length of the cylinder.

Timid, I think there has been some assumptions based on fact that NC are supposed world leaders in block caving. Also GH, CL and CB all were talking about block caving at the AGM. Maybe, along with everything else, its a bit too early to be definite.

GH said that they would consider putting up their 3d model on their website. NC has their own, but I cant see them sharing this yet. I presume GGPs would give us a better idea of how the cylinder is shaping up? I dont know whether Paddy can use his 3d image to calculate cylinder size?
Hopefully some new satellite images soon.
My calcs get the range as 9.25 to 31 myn ozs, and a value of between 5p and 51p! I can see why we need more drilling....

Thanks so much to both of you. So my next question is about the cylinder.
If the cylinder has been drilled to a true vertical depth of 1450, but is at an angle, surely the cylinder of gold ore is much longer than 1000m? Based on diagonal being longer than vertical etc.
Do we know the angle of the cylinder?

Hi Timid. So by my calcs a 300m diameter cylinder 1000m deep gets me to 12.5 myn ozs based on 2g/t. Is that what you get?

My point was just that we have a partner who is large, with loads of lovely free cash flow, who is committed to the area and has done a lovely deal with us. They are also very excited by other, nearby blocks. some of which we own.
Adding Rio into the mix just confuses things and will certainly delay things. So I am not sure that it would be in our short term interests, but each to their own.

Do you have an estimate for the breadth, length and depth of Havieron based on known drilling results?

Hi Schlemiel, its not just GGP, there are others in the area too. These havent drilled anything to speak of yet, but claiming nearology and are pumping their SPs. Most are quoted on ASX. If you can find a map of the concessions that might help.

Thirdman. Firstly its Solgold not Sologold. Now I suggest you go to their website and research it. The two companies are not comparable. One is in Ecuador, the other in Oz. The only similarity is that both are explorers and dont produce anything atm.

I am pretty sure that GH talked about the meeting in Melbourne. He made a comment along the lines of every time he brought up one of the other assets, NC kept bringing the subject back to Scallywag.
