redleader, I would be interested to see your workings on how/why you would use anything to do with current au spot price to get to 17p? I can get there (and more) but it doesnt have anything to do with spot gold.

Just back from a few weeks in Cape Town, and managed the flight home with food poisoning. Probably the last place you need it!! Didn’t read anything worth commenting on, just the usual bickering. Let’s hope we hear something soon on the company and that the recent rains on the east coast are shutting down some of the Aussie fires. HNY one and all.

Addicknt as always I agree with your general thoughts. However whilst I don’t really understand the CGP plan, I am not sure that NM does either. I can’t imagine how or why it’s central to any long term plan, but could be wrong. I just think it’s something that was vaguely important, that they tried to buy at the beginning of the year and now it’s gone down the list, behind mre , pfs and bfs.
I have not bothered to try to communicate with ingo, NM ignored my last email, so communication channels are closed.
I just think the company is behaving appallingly to its backers, the shareholders. We are mushrooms and so for me the company has gone down my list of priorities. If they offered me a price to get out at b/e I would probably take as there are better places for my risk capital. Sad end to the year for what was once a great story.

I suspect they have dropped it cos its a bit embarrassing having a sp target that is so far away from current sp, and since the target was announced the shares have gone down. If and when the sp goes up, they will quickly raise it again.
But irrelevant in the grand scheme of things atm.

A friend of my brother in law does a lot of contract work for NC. I spoke with him just after NC farmed in. He is a huge fan of NC. Firstly he said that NC must be pretty certain to have done the deal in the first place. Secondly NC (and maybe this applies to all companies) just plough on drilling as long as the Geos/technical people dont get too many surprises outside of what they are modelling. If there are surprises they will tend to stop and re-evaluate, adjust the model and continue.
With the ramp up in drilling, either the model is showing a lot of exciting and predictable results, or Telfer has suddenly got even more desperate!

Timid, I agree with you re FT. But could they sell it for (say) $30myn? Or is it far too early to even have a guess at valuation.

As to someone elses question re fund raising. GH was quite adamant that they have plenty to see through 2020 and wouldnt raise at these prices anyhow.

Haha. I wasnt intending to stoke any fires (there appear to be far too many in Oz atm). It was just a bit quiet and am off to Cape Town on Sat for a couple of weeks of r&r, so wanted to see if anything had changed. Happy to wait till Jan.
Re FT. I wonder whether this has spooked GHs interest in finding out more, or whether he would sell it now if he got a bid? At the AGM I was pretty sure he would sell it soon.
