VC, it may well happen, it probably should happen but GH needs to protect ggp from cheeky low ball bids.

VC, if they were to ask for NC help, if I was GH I would want some sort of standstill agreement in return. All very well sharing info but you don’t want NC using that against you.

Sorry for late response but was entertaining yesterday and clearing up today!
Regarding the depth and block caving GH did say from memory that there wasn’t much point in going lower than 2 X 500 metre caves. I didn’t understand the logic to that then so a couple of weeks back I sent them an email asking for an explanation. I didn’t think it a price sensitive issue, so I expected an answer but as yet I haven’t had one.

Spy, I was really ‘having a go’ only at those who don’t understand that the warrants would be the last thing to be exercised, after any shares sold. Not the first.
I am struggling with a lot of the newbies who are free with advice and opinions but sadly lacking in basic knowledge about the products, markets and the company.

2. The warrants were issued to large sophisticated investors who have loads of shares. So if they wanted to reduce their exposure they would sell their shares not exercise their warrants as they would lose the optionality which has 18 months to run. If you don’t understand basic option theory please don’t talk about it, and that is much more polite than I would say face to face!!

would make their investment decisions based on the risk and reward, and adjust that based on news and information. Its really tough to do that and ignore the P&L, especially as people hit life changing numbers.
My original intention was to sell some at 2p and then let the rest run, and recoup my investment at a higher price and let the rest run.
So far the news and my analysis (or interpretation of the news) means that I havent sold any, and have in fact bought more as I still think the r/r strongly favours the upside. But its tough not to notice the numbers, but I have decided they are tokens, not money, and that way I dont have to deal with the reality of thinking about what one could do with it!

JR, I'd be surprised if its ahead of NCs results, because the Chairman bought last Thursday. Maybe he isnt in the loop, but extremely unlikely.

I would love them to have a bit more cash and go for Scally and Goliath with a much bigger drilling programme. Take advantage of this sweet spot, either by selling Tassie or doing a modest fund raise.

The reason its mid morning is that GGP draft the release overnight and then it has to get approved by lawyers, nomads etc in UK, before being released, so its tough to get one out before 8am.

I am not thinking about the 'known unknowns' but more the 'unknown unknowns', to quote Donald Rumsfeld. So not stuff we have chatted about. So perhaps something along the lines of NC taking a stake, but not bidding, or deals for other prospects. Difficult to think of unknown unknowns, cos if you think about them, they arent unknown!!

whether there are whispers in Oz about stuff that we dont know? NC has kept a pretty tight ship up till now, but we have never seen these movements and this volume. Make me wonder....
