SP should go to 60p+ in a few days.

So crunch day tomorrow and results a few days later, is that when we will see a 13% jump in Sp?

Or weeks later.

I t must clear now that MM cannot stay in control of remainco after the split, after all the whole point of taking ingen private is so that MM can control that.

Once the split has taken place it will be open season for bids if the SP is still under £1 and who else would be a perfect fit Applied Nut and they could clean up with MM not being able to stop it.

Anyway that's my view and it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Is Applied Nut getting ready for a full bid for THG while the SP is so low. ???

Could be app Nut taking advantage of the low SP and getting ready to make a full bid in the next week or so after the split.

But will it ever happen ???????

We all have a big idea just who that is don't we . With THG sitting at what 50p-60p this week and a turnover of what £1b+ for the remaining business once the split has taken place, If I were Applied Nut with an SP of £1.40 the first thing I would do is make an offer for THG at £1.10 and triple my business in 1 go.

I can understand why everyone is keeping stum !!!, but as an investor I am just waiting for my bonus to come in a few days /weeks time. bring it on.

So where else would this happen. Your a shareholder in a company where the bod's split a part off where we should all benefit,but first you issue more shares and use these shares to give away your benefit but you have an option to take a little part at the same time losing a part of the original company. So not only do you not get anything for free you have no say and on top of this the man in charge stays in charge of both to do what he wants when he wants.

In 2024 you would think the system would be there to protect it's shareholders. Funny old world.

Just wait until the split and we should get a lift of about 13% on top of 65p- 80p

JPMorgan raises ITV price target to 115 (114) pence - 'overweight'

I think it's fair to say as a pi whatever you think of the Dame from our point of view , the city and BOD's believe she has done a great job over the last few years under the world conditions and almost turned ITV around.

I know there are many that want her gone, but why would she go when it looks like everything is now coming up roses and where would she go from here.

If she went somewhere else for more money ( which I think is unlikely) why would she as she would have to prove herself all over again. No she is here maybe for another 5 years unless there is a takeover , but she is making that much harder to happen and it almost G/Tees her position here. Crafty hey !

Will we ever get to 80p+ by Christmas, will we ever get any bids.

Surely if anyone is / has been interested in ITV you think they would have made a play by now while the SP is so low, maybe it's NOT such a good buy ?????

Good morning guys, it sounds like you have thrashed this out now. But what will be interesting is once the deal is done who out of all these 10 so big investors in ingen will be the biggest shareholder and who will be beholden to who.

MM ,MA, and what will there holding be if they tell us.

Because if this is to become a private company just how long will it be before one of these guys wants to take full control and go in a different direction. It could be that MM may lose out to MA , now wouldn't that be interesting .!!!!!!

Oculusprime, sorry still meaningless. Look from my point of view I will not be taking any of the new ingen shares as you will have no control of what's going on and may never get any of that money back so I have just discounted it totally.

The rest we the small pi's will still have no control of what the BOD's will do raise / issue more share or cut them, if we want to get out money back we will just have to stay with it regardless or sell up. So total number of shares is meaningless in the great plan.

That's the way buying shares works for us small pi's, you take a gamble and either make money or lose some . So what's the point in getting up-tight about the way BOD's play the game, they are in it for them and we are just fodder.

We get rns voting rights all the time from all companies but they don't mean a thing to the small pi's and who ever pays any attention to them meaningless .

Well I guess it's as they say any media news is good news but is it. who believes the dame is in any talks about any split, but it seems true to some extent as she hasn't yet come out and denied anything so who knows.

I guess it's also fair to say if there are any talks at all they could still go on for months with nothing at the end of it.

However I am hoping we do get some sort of deal / offer of £1.25 by end of March for this tax year.

Sorry to here of your problems and I guess THG is really the least of your priorities for now.

Your current shares arn't going anywhere and look safe , so If I were you I would just sit tight and make the gains on the SP when it's all done.

Yes I am also with II and the same, they are cutting this fine as the deadline is what 19th Dec .

Yorek ,how can debs be in the list they went bust about 3 years ago, I know because I lost about £4K when it happened.

For the last 6-12 months many and the city have been saying THG should split, well now you have your wishes and just because the terms are not what you wanted you now don't like the idea.

If this is not voted through we can all see the SP going down, but med / long term we all know it's the only way forward. Just remember the words, you don't always get what you wish/ vote for in life.

And knowing MM as we all do now, when you put him in a corner against his will he will come out fighting for his way and money . and that's what it looks like he is doing. He wins we lose.
