You have said over and over again you trade in 20,000 lots, you bought more at 66.9 and sold at 69 point something but you didn't mention the spread or commission on buying and selling so in the end probably lost money. Stop trying to make out you know it all. clearly you don't. So why not let others do what they want without going on and on and on.

Good morning pogo, so £15.8k. Divi great and £15.3k after tax interesting.

So we currently get £1000 tax free divi allowance making £14.8k taxable so how can you only pay about £300 tax. You must live in a different world to the rest of us. Isn't it more like 40 % ?

So we had results on 10th April last year, just when will they turn up this year ?

That's why you said you have put shorts on then sold and bought back with only 1p-3p movements otherwise you would have put shorts on for 10p-20p movements before buying back wouldn't you.

Hi pogo, yes I am going today to put in my £20k ISA top up for this tax year. There are always other things to do.

Sorry tom , I think your a dynamic panic, you must change your jobs fast so do don't get found out, you must change your women because they can't stand you after a while. all that I am afraid says you don't really know what your doing and can't make the right choice to start will and stay to the plan.

My self , I have worked all my life well until I was 56 and then retired with a strong family and funds that I don't need to worry about the market.

Here's a plan for you tom, make a firm long term plan and stick to it without needing the stock markets and all that panic. because in 6 months time I will still be having holidays being relaxed with family and still not worrying about any 2000 point fall in the markets.

Tom the panic, look if the market / the city like you knew this was going to happen 6 months ago don't you think they would have sold off then.

But for many of us we don't live our lives glued to the markets and only put in spare money to play the game for a little money and fun. so do I care if the market goes down 1,000-2000 points not really for many of us life will carry on as normal and we will just get the laughter and panic from posters like your self.

In a few months time so will have lost money if they sold and some will have made money if they buy cheap, but normal life will just roll on and I will take my holidays and carry on regardless.

But I can see you in a panic about every day living, it's a bit of a shame but over time you will learn life is more important sometimes without dealing in shares.

Contrarian, I would n't mind if ITV was up but I wouldn't be selling yet I am happy with the divi etc. You still don't get it do you and that's your problem. Happy to sit back and laugh at you and Tom chasing your ass's and all the panic.

Contrarian / Tom, you both really make us laugh.

You both come on here telling others what to do or not to do as if you both think you know everything.

But surely it all depends on your state of life, you both sound like your chasing your ass's in attempts to make money as your like depends on it. But many of us just don't need to do the same. I might have been like that 30-40 years ago, but I don't need a new house, I just got a new car and have a number of holidays a year. My kids are covered my grandkids are covered and I have stopped trying to the government too much tax off my interests and CGT.

Just stop trying to tell everyone what to do as if you know all, you don't but I do enjoy the laugh you give us although I do also feel sorry for your position but it will look better in 10-20 years time.
