So what do they need £5m-£10m ? here comes another dilution at what 2p-3p will the sp is high.

I think yesterday's rns with offer 35p details in was done in agrement with the consortium to see what sort of response they would get from the likes of ABC and it wasn't good and it would be rejected when the confirmed deal / offer was made today. So maybe tomorrow we will see the 37p-40p they need minimum to get this offer through. It's all games ,after all would they want to lose the deal for another 3p-5p after 3 months work and costs?
We have seen in many other takeover deals fall through and there has been costs of £10m-£30m involved.

I think the bod's would get more respect and support if they said sorry it's got to be minimum 45p or deals off, and then raise their own money.
After all if the consortium is going to raise some £300m and then take the profits or sell the company again in 1-2 years for £1 a share why can't the current board.

In all honesty can you ever see this sp more than £3.50 regardless of business back to normal etc.
Now that the consolidation is done it will soon be forgotten and SAGA will have to stand up against better run more profitable companies with good divi's at a lower sp. Now that's not me being negative or a non holder because I have been holding these for god knows how long, just a realist.

I still find it strange that the AA bod's went to the point of issuing a statement yesterday with all/ most of the deal contents in it that as yet hasn't been agreed, they staement must have been agreed by the consortium before AA put out the rns.

It looks to all like the consortium have been putting in more and more delays to squeeze the bod's and make them desperate to take what the consortium offer, and the AA bod's have now said 1 more day and that's it the deals off.
If the consortium still cannot decide what they want to offer after 3 months there's something very wrong. It could be time for AA to raise their own money.

Hi , because it's not yet an offer, they have until 24th to make a firm offer and as such haven't yet. but would expect another rns today or tomorrow to confirm it. Then the sp will go to 35p, or should do.

Seems a strange time to sell today, if an offer is made tomorrow and it looks like will happen now the sp will be 35p for a few weeks until the shareholders vote. It's only then that a no deal can be made and then the sp will go down.
If the bod's are going to decline this 35p offer tomorrow then surely they would have said today they didn't consider 35p to be a true value for the company. only my view .

I cannot see the deal falling through for the sake of another 3p-5p after about 3 months work, If they want AA surely they must have a fall back position for 40p.

So the offer is 35p ,but who offers their best and last price first time round, they have been working on this offer for what about 3 months now and I think they have built in 37p -40p as the final offer price.
So when this offer gets turned down which I think it will they will come back with a final offer of 37p-40p, then a deal will be done.

If the deal gets passed by the shareholders and you carry on holding then when the time comes you will be paid 35p the offer price.
But if the sp goes up or down over the next few weeks from 30p -35p+ because peaple think there could be another higher bid , then you can just sell in the market at the price you get offered. it's up to you simple.

talk over the last 1-2 weeks has been about pfd buying more brands to expand their total business and still keep within a limited debt size for our business. So what great brands are out there for sale that we could buy for our summer trade area which is where i think we could do with some help.
As long as they don't go on a big buying move and get us into a lot more and too much debt that they cannot pay back with normal sales/ profits.

If they are only going to invest an extra £300+m now, why don't AA just raise that extra money themselves even with extra shares, after all we only have 680m shares on issue now, as long as they DON'T do a consolidation.
We would be in a far better place in 6 months with a much higher sp.

So the Proposal being discussed with the Consortium includes an intention to also invest approximately £380 million into the Company to facilitate debt reduction and specifically to support a refinancing of £541 million of the existing Class B2 Secured Notes maturing in July 2022 and £372 million Class A5 Notes maturing in January 2022.
Does that mean they are only going to invest £380m now and then in 2022 the rest. or what.Still so many questions
