I have held these for about 8 years, then when the results came out I stupidly bought more ar 98p and again at 90p thinking at last we are on the move. Wrong call again.
I shall be in my grave before this gets to £1.50 the way it's going.

After years of waiting we turn the corner and we come out with great results with more sales more profits reduced dbts and everything is going well and blow me down the market goes up by 100+ points and pfd are back to their old ways with sp going back down, just doesn't add up.
December should be a great month and the sp should be well up, so why not ????????????????????????????????????????????

This has been my thoughts all along, with ABC holding all the cards here I think they will want 40p+ for an agreement.
After what about 3 months of work, time and high costs are they willing to lose this deal for another few pence per share, so I think they will come back with that little extra. Maybe that was ABC 's plan all along, so let's hope it works and for 1 are still holding tight for another few weeks.

VIA JP Morgan have 16% now, so still buying, plus ABC who did have approx 20% gives 36% , now if they say NO to 35p then we should be looking at 38p -40p offer .That;s if the consortium still wants AA after all the work and costs to get to this position.

Will be staying at home over christmas this year according to some press reports, now that's a lot of extra food needed and with luck lots of pfd products to see them through.
Also just how many supermarket own lable mince pies does pfd make for them, If I remember last year saw something like 3-5 million mince pies sold and eaton in December, let's hope we can beat that this year with more mince pie exports etc.
All in all it's looking a lot like more profits this year and the sp should respond to £1.20+.

Yes you have to wonder why there are still so many shares being bought at / above 34p, is it that many think the consortium will find it very hard to hit the 75% mark with this 35p and will therefore have to come back with the extra 38p-40p to get this away. Surely holders like ABC have a strong position here to hold for more but will the consortium do a deal with ABC for say 40p in the back round to get this away? All more games.

Going by the rns and the next interim results in Dec, so some time in Dec by the looks of things.

Even Numis had a price of £1.03 back in 2015, but I think things have changed some what since then !!!!!!!!!

The trouble is he doesn't speak english and only double dutch and therefore has to have all his thoughts translated, and that's why it all comes out crap. It's not his fault.

Unfortunately over the last 10 years the whole of british business has gone down the route of short term low cost and short term quick profits, with ver few british companies wanting to put their hands in their pockets to buy and develope british companies.
Just look at how many british / well known companies have been bought out buy international companies that are prepared to invest large sums of money to develope the businesses for long term gains, and then sell for profits.
Until we have companies / directors that are prepared to put money into british companies for long term gain companies like AA will keep being snapped up by people / consortiums for quick turn round profits, because that's what's going to happen with AA in 2 years time and we the current shareholders are the one's that will continue to lose.Vote this down.!!!

I think there's more going on here, if the bod's are recommending this deal why isn't there a vote date, is it because they think it will be turned down. I think the best thing for the moment is to just sit tight.
We all know that if the deal goes through we have 35p in the bag as a fall back, and there is the chance that if the big shareholders say the will NOT surpport this deal if will fail and so I think they have up-to 40p to come back with to sweeten the deal. What's the rush until they issue some timelines.

in a few years , yes I agree but with one difference they will make double / treble their money which is what the current bod's could do with support.

So are many / most holders assuming that if we all vote this down they will come back with another few p??
It's interesting that they have what about 15% so far in favour but I guess that will change fast.

I do hope that if a firm offer is made the AA bod's will at the same time put out their alternative plan for raising money so all shareholders can compare and decide what to do for the best. That is ocause if the AA team have already made such plan.

Agree with that, although we are only talking about £2.£3b debt so don't over state things.
If the consortium can see what this needs and still think they can turn AA around then surely so should they current bod's.
It does look like the consortium have a much stronger management team and it shows AA team up as being weak. Trump would put up with this game.

Sorry I don't think it's that simple. If that's the bid and it's all agreed why hasn't it been made now or confirmed.
