I have noticed that whenever someone posts something you dissagree with you , reply with insults rather than any ideas of your own. You do sound like a very sad fellow or lady ?

Who says most posters on here are long term? and what is long term now days, 1 week, 1 month, 6 months ?
the market has changed over the last 5-10 years and you cannot just sit round waiting. Still see a possible 55p + on Thursday /Friday.

Come on we have all done it, we know the results are coming and so many buy in front of results thinking I know there are going to be bad but if I buy now and the results are better than though I can make good money.
Trouble is often the results are bad and the sp goes down and we then have to wait another few weeks to make our money back. So this time I am just going to wait and then buy after the results and make so money. but at what price , 55p -60p ?

Looks like IAG & Tui are down again as travel doesn't look as if it's going to get going this year now, and that will have another impact on RR.

Still think this will be £1.05 by end of today

We all thought RR was going nowhere but up but I am just trying to read the market and if the plan is to top up we have to do it when we think the sp is down at the low nothing else than that. We have all done it bought at what we thought was the low only to see the sp go down even more after we have bought.

And I am not a deramper as I hold these shares.

Yes I agree with you it's a very interesting read, I am surprised that 2 brokers have up-dated their price tagets to £1.13 and £1.30 with is less than £1.50 from another main broker.
But if these 2 brokers now see the price range up to £1.13 and £1.30 then they must also see a lower range price from say 90p to £1.30. So now I wouldn't be surprised to see this drop a little more to the lower end say 90p - 95p before it start to move up again, and maybe that's what's already happening so it could be just sit tight for a while.

It looks like RR is in that cycle again for a few weeks, up to £1.12 and down again to £1.00 -£1.05.
It doesn't matter how good the results were it's down to the city making money moving it up & down.If you want to top up again I would wait another few days to £.100. Just my view but that's what it's been doing for the last 6 months +.

What makes me laugh about all this green movement on electric cars / heating etc etc. There was about 3 pages of cost breakdown in relation to what the costs and benefits were in the mail the other day for heating houses with electric, electric cars, heat pumps for houses etc etc and the main findings by experts was that it would take approx 30 years -50 years to get your money back even if you have the money.
It's all very interesting for the government to make these statements about saving the planet but if the cost to do this for the average person is too high people won't do it. If it's a question of going without food to heat your house why would you bother. When the goverment changes it's policy to make it worth while to change your car or put in solar pannels etc then it might work but it will be 2050-2070. In my view.

So what's going to happen to the markets when at 9 am they release the new shock climate reort, will there be any / many stocks taking a hit?

I just think it will /could affect many stocks including RR, it just depends on how negative they want to make it.
But it looks like RR could already be going back a little maybe to £1.05 ish.

I have been doing this for almost 40 years and have a good idea whats going on, but still willing to learn if you know more !

Like many I have followed these for the last year hoping to get it and this now looks like a fair price, but after reading more info etc it still looks like the results this wek are going to be bad after the opening up was delayed yet again.
Wouldn't be surprised to see debt even higher now and recovery put back another 6 months, so I will hold until the results on Thursday where the sp could be back down to 50p ish for a few weeks.

Just depends what you want to do, many are about £1 ave and some will stay until £1.20- £1.50 but along the way it will go up and down and some will try to sell at £1.12 and hope it drops back and buy back in but could miss the boat, on the other hand you could make more if it does fall and rise it you get the timing right. It's all a gamble. best of luck.

Remember it's friday and will some sell off today with sp ending down a bit at say £1.06?

Thought we might have seen some broker up-dates today after results, will they be higher than the £1.50 already posted by 2 and will we hit the £1.12 today?
