I couldn't agree more, we get another 350,000 xtra customers and additional costs covered by the industry levy. Let’s have all these small players who don’t hedge out of the market.
Centrica have hedged / forward bought all the gas they need probably a year ago at much lower costs and will make lots more profit on all fixed 1/2/3 year contracts.
Everyone has been going on about how many customers have been losing over the last 1/2 years and now they have almost replaced all the one's they had lost. Many more will probably switch to BG just to G/Tee their gas supply for the next 6-9 months, and so I think we will see the SP going back up to 70p-80p once we get the end of years results and profits.

Also I think this make about 500,000 new customers from all 4 companies going bust, so far.

British Gas to supply customers of People's Energy, So this is the 4th company BG has taken on, and if they have any extra costs they will be able to rever them from the safty system. set up through Ofgen.
OK they may not make much /any profits from these new customers in the short term but as we all know most customers stay with a lager company like BG and bigger profits will come down the line. Maybe a time to top up .

God knows where all these sp of £1.70 etc are coming from when the whole matket is expected to be well down with the ftse following maybe some 100 points lower, I think we could be looking at £1.30 ish today.

If I am correct the article did say no rights but it didn't say a placing and at some stage it does look like they will need a lot more mone, and if that's the case it will need to be below £1.50 maybe £1.25 so that's why I think £1.80 won't be seen again for a long time. Buy what do I know and we could be £1.80 next week.

If some of this information is true and a number a small energy companies have / do go bust then BG will / could take over some of these companies customers and G/Tee a safer bigger BG.

After reading the Mail today it appears that IAG have a £26bn pension black hole which is bigger than the total IAG share value, and if that is the case I think £1.80 is just pie in the sky.
They have said they don't at this moment consider a rights but it must only be a question of time.

Like many I also hold these but we all know that within the next 2 weeks we will get the results and they could as predicted include a rights / placing for that £70m needed.
Now no one knows the price of any issue if it happens but could be 45p- 55p which would drop the sp, so don't you think at this time it's better NOT to advice anyone to buy at todays price even though it's a good price to get in, but maybe many should just hold tight for a few more working days to see what happens.

Who knows?, this has been going on for about the last 5 years with vog.
Every now and then for NO reason someone in lse admin just takes away some very good posts, now I am not sure if it has anything to do with vog having a lot of say or just that someone in admin takes a dislike to something being said even though most of the posts being taken out have good facts to them.
But if it just that someone in lse has a dislike then this post could disappear within a few moments.

Just how can the bod's make any announcement, if they say they need more money the sp will dive and they may never get away a rights issue at the correct price they wanted.
If they say they don't need more money and won't be doing a rights the SP will rocket but will the city believe them. They cannot win, the only thing they can do is announce a rights out of the blue, but it wouldn't really be out of the blue would it now. SP will continue to fall all the time they say nothing, so where is the buy in price £1 or below ?

We all thought covid would be done with by now and RR would once again be going high , but now after a number press / government presentations about more jabs for over 50's / jabs for kids over 12 , and now talk of plan B with more masks and possible passports for clubs etc etc everything now looks more negative.
So shares like RR are effected more by press / news than many others so we could be looking at below 90p before things start to get better. Now that's not me being negative but just a realist.

Looks a good deal and they need the money but they won't get it until end of Qtr 1 2022.
Can they last until then if they don't sell off any more assets.

Good morning all, if 's very difficult to compare the sp now to where it was at the start of the Covid or to the sp level at the vaccine point.
We are now getting a much clearer picture of the debt / income of IAG and after what about 18 months things now look a lot worse than 18 months ago, hence he talk of another RI .So they will probably go for another RI in both UK and Spain at what £1.10 - £1.30 to get it away. any thoughts.

Mail on sunday again today about airline stocks and IAG looking to raise more money to get through the winter, well RR is no different in terms of running out of money and could again also raise more money by rights / placing.
The industry in total including RR just hasn't been able to pull in more money as planned this year and so must be running well behind their cash plan. So with E Jet, now IAG , RR cannot be far behind an announcement but at what price 80p-90p ?

Looks like BG is trying to get more customers, the Daily Mail energy club / group deal has been won by BG with a price of £1,325 pa although it does also include the price of you taking out a boil / service contract with them.
Not sure what the actual tariff costs are yet buy I guess many Daily Mail readers will now take up this offer which is fixed until June 2024.
So maybe now BG are looking to make up ground and beat other Energy companies for the business.

Yes I am surprised we are still at 70p or below after these results. A great turn round and now with £33m in cash and NO debt things now look much better are this should be about £1 now or very soon.

Cineworld said it would pay $170m of a judgement to dissenting shareholders of Regal Entertainment Group after the company's takeover of the movie theatre chain in 2018.
A further $92m will be placed into an escrow account to be available to Cineworld as additional liquidity "under certain circumstance". The funds in the escrow account will paid to the dissenting shareholders no later than March 31, 2022.
So does this mean Regal has agreed to this and is this now closed ?
