I think many like the idea of a 3 year policy as long as you accept the fact that for Saga to make a profit out of this the policy holder must pay more up front in the first 1-2 years that covers Saga in the 3 rd years for any increases in costs. It’s a bit like fixed term gas /electric deal.

Hmmmmmmm, It looks like they have tried to pull out all/ any good news where they can find it.
That seems to be against 2 years ago where they are well up in a number of areas but against last years not so good, where we seem to be down on some areas. OK debt is down a little more but still no divi so I can see the SP goin down a little today.but what do I know.

Must admit I am a little disappointed about the sp, I thought it would have been approx £1.20- £1.30 for the results and then fall back a little as it normally does. But to not even be back to the £1.20 mark why?.
After the last year I also thought PFD was going to be trading as normal about the £1.50- £2 mark with all those extra sales but maybe the city just doesn't see it that way. Who knows where we go from here, I just hope we don't get any bad news otherwise this could be back to 90p ish.

Yes always good news when directors buy shares with their own money.
Rox I know you hold many shares but if I am not wrong you can get on the board and have more say if you buy / hold 7%.
So keep buying and that will help us all. !!!!!!!

Whatever the true value of SAGA at the moment , I think we can all agree that SAGA have spent/ are spending very large sums of money on TV / press advertising that seems to be everywhere.. Now that must have some sort of return in bookings etc.

I think I am more interested in why the SP drop of 12.4p today when there has been NO bad news in the press on Friday or Saturday to push this down.
Was it simply the RNS issue of approx 200,000 shares for staff/ directors and the institutions / city thought it was 200m and reacted to early.or is there more infor due out on Monday.

Sod it, I know I should have bought these but bought Saga instead. Who's the guy that sits in the air above you and just waits for you to make a move then does the reverse just to p*** you off.

Now we know why it dropped. they have issued another 200+m shares, for Directors I guess at some stage.

Still should go back to £3+ at some point.

Couldn't wait any longer as I now don't think they will go down to £2.50 my buy in target, so I bough back in at £2.91 but now it will probably prove me wrong.

Yes all looking good , I would buy some of these if the spread comes down a bit as looking to get in about 50p ish then I am sure I can make a few bob.

Unless of cause they are buys as the sp is still going up a little

Not sure what's going on today, there has been 3 big sells. 2x 300,000 & 1 x 400,000.
thought people would be buying more not selling.

So where have a number of posts gone again .

What get's my goat is that I went in when it was showing 59p ish but Interactive would only offer me 62p to buy, so I didn't.
Just like to know how you get these best deals. luck does play it's part. Just have to wait a little longer and get more at 58p. !!!!!!

You know what happens we see a big drop and buy more shares only to see later in the day some news thats just come out and that's why the sp has dropped. Anyone seen any news ?

Yes we all get it wrong more often than right.
I also followed shoe after their sp drop and thought to myself , now out of the 2 shoe or Card what will go up the most only to pile into Card. a double sod's law.
Also piled into Foxtons after great sales / profits and director buys plus buy back only to find them still low. But you know if we sell card and foxtons they will shoot up. How do the city guys make all this money.?

This seems to be trading between 31p- 34p with some bigger buys now coming in, but I think this will go back down again to around 31p for another few days when then we will need to buy more.or have I got that wrong.

I note that Peel hunt still have this down as under review, it's about time they got off the fence and put 85p as a price.
