Look as far as I am concerned everyone can send as many Christmas cards as possible to everyone, as long as they buy them from Carf Factory then I might get some benefit from all this.

sain, I understand all that and think sometimes we investors care more and feel stronger about companies and what they do than the city., and after a few days/weeks the city don't really care and just move on to make money.

Sain, but after all this ranting which may have a lot of truth in it, will the city after what about a week just start buying again and all this will be forgotten with the SP back up to 45p ish next week.?

Looking at the RNS yesterday it says and the Company will hold 10,630,776 Ordinary Shares in treasury with no voting rights attached.
So at 45p ish cost that's well over the £3m. So who knows.

I think when they first announced the buy back they said they would buy back about £3m of shares, now they will try to buy back those shares at the cheapest they can all the time the SP is low , so I guess they will stop when that has been done.
But in the end it should improve the SP for the shares that are left, well that's how it's meant to work .
How long is a peice of string ?

I was watching a report / programe today about electric cars and garages and it was saying many people who have already bought an electric car have found that when they breakdown which many have , they have taken them back to the garage they bought them only to be told they cannot fix them because they don't have the trained people to fix them so they have been sent somewhere else to be fixed.
The report was saying they are expecting the industry to need some 600,000 new trained electric car mechanics by 2030-35 and see a shortfall of 37,000. I didn't even think of this sort of problem , and I didn't know there were so many electric cars already breaking down but they may be keeping that quiet.
So maybe electric cars are not the be all and end all for now.

Hi Symbo1, yes like you been holding these for many years now with almost nothing left to look forward to.
It does seem that anything to do with Cameroon is a NO NO and like VOG far too much money is needed in brown bags to get anywhere and BLVN could go the same way as VOG.
Written this off as dead money now anyway and if something does turn up in the end it will be a bonus.

Lib Cap has a price target of £1.10 on 8th Nov, so plenty of room to grow.

Yes I think they have sold about 1m sofar, it just depends on how many they want to get rid of.
If it's 5+ million then this could go down to 20p, who knows.

As far as I can see on the Director holdings sheet Foo still holds about 2.5m shares after more in the placing at 57p, or does he?
I have never seen and RNS saying he has sold them unles I have missed it. Anyone else seen anything related to those shares?

Peel hunt still have this down as under review, I just wonder how long it takes to come up with their price target as maybe that's why some are not yet buying.

I guess many of us are just waiting for it to settle down and then buy in, first I thought 30p would be a good price but the way we are going with NO bounce it looks more like a settle price will be 25p ish. So might as well just sit back for another week and see what happens.

So really good news but as I thought a grant so more debt, as if they didn't have enough debt to start with.
At some time they will have to pay all this back otherwise it will at some point come back and bite them in the bum.

So all a bit wooly about the money, is this a Gov / grant, is it by way of more RR shares, where are all the facts?

Hi Rox, After all that you have put in here I guess you are now starting to feel maybe you did do the right thing and can now stop worrying so much as it seems it's just a question of time before you make some really good money.
I always think it's very positive when companies put out good up-dated trading info when it's not expected, rather than saying nothing. Maybe 80p is possible if we keep on at this rate.

So we all know that online still has a part to play, so how do we compare Purple online say to the new Booming set-up launched a few months back. I know that Foxt are a part of the Booming set-up but not sure if it's just Foxt or if other estate agents including Purple are also part of it. Has that Booming made any difference to competition or grown the total market ?

Well that RNS seem to come out of nowhere and another trading up-date so soon after the September one.
I guess they seem to be more pleased of the position of sales etc to put another rns out now.
For one minute I thought there was going to be some bad news but no I couldn't see any, also the debt level although £100m is £40m less than the same period last year or befor the pandemic. Could now give some confedence in the sp unless I am seeing nothing to worry about when I should be seeing something to worry about. any thoughts.?

But you also have to ask yourself why would 3 directors buy shares in Sep / Oct /Nov for about 47p+ in volumes of 50,000,60,000 & 200,000 do you not think they know whats coming down the line.
I always think these are great signs of faith and confedence that the SP will be much higher in a few months, these directors of companies know more than anyone what is happening. But I guess we will only find out in a few months.

Over the year many have seen this sort of thing happen over and over again, A company comes out with bad news in an RNS and the SP drops like a stone, then many think it's agreat buy at this price and jump in thinking it's going to bounce and I will make good money only to see the SP go down even more over the next week I know we have all done it.
So from my point of view even though I have been following these and think it could be a good buy, logic now tells me to just sit tight for another week and see what happens. So I will. everyone to their own.
