O' dear, have we now got some green party memebr in charge of things and want pfd to looked at as green.
Just how much is all this going to cost and will it drive total extra sales and profits.
They talk about 2030 etc but I think PFD will be taken out well before then, let's see what the city think, if anything.

Does anyone really make a lot of money I used to think so, about 25 years ago I lost about £50k then made lots back but over the last 10 years I have lost another £60k- £ 70k but making small amounts of £5k -£10k at a time and spending it on holidays and cars etc . but I don't really keep a track now days as we live off our pensions and savings.
The trading money just stays in my trading account but I keep saying one day soon I will transfer it all into my current account and just spend it for the next god knows how much time I have left. But there is always that next deal because we all think we can beat the system.
Deep down I think we all like a gamble whatever the outcome.

Here's a classic,
I have bought and sold Mars over the last few months making money everytime it went up, anyway it went down again the other week so I bought back in at about 70p thinking it will go back to 80p no trouble.
Anyway it was going back up to 77p ish on Wednesday befor the budget and I was going to be out for the budget thinking things the market always go down or so, so I sold MARS and making more profit but when I got back late on Wednesday little did I know they gave away on booze so MARS went up to 80p and I lost that little be extra but still in profit. But if I hadn't of sold they would have increased the tax on drink and MARS would have went down. That's life.

Yes your right Rox it always happens, The trouble is when we see a good price on a company we have been following we buy big at what we think is a very good price, then when it starts going down we keep topping up but with small buys of say 10,000 at a time it makes very little impact on the ave at times.
Sometimes it would be better to only buy small amonts first but then you miss out on big price movements.
But still this market is only here to P*** us off and pass some time, but after some 40 years you get sick & T at being P*** off.

Like many my ave is about 60p after a top up a few weeks ago, should I top up more now or is it going to hit 45p?
God knows it could be then will it hit 40p

A little while ago PDG approached Lookers about a tie up but lookers turned them down, so it looks like PDG are open to the idea of a takeover or tie up with someone, so a bid of some sorts might be looked at in positive terms. But at what price ?
25p -35p or a lot more.

bakerrabble, you might be right many companies put their shares in treasuary first and then cancel them later but you could be correct and they might get canelled straight away.

Actually I don't have any shorts on at all. I bought the allocation shares on the consolidation and sold most of my holding a little while back and now just waiting for another entry point about the £2.50 which is where I think it's heading, so I can just make back the little loss I am carrying. Simple as that, NO great plan or short I just like to keep things simple.
I am sorry if you have it completley wrong but it's just my view and as important as yours.

Come on everyone we all know that within a few weeks this is going to be £1.15, that's the way it works.
Today is budget day and you can also bet that there will be some bad news and the markets will be down Thursday and Friday so this could fall anyway. I think the only thing to do here is just sit tight for a while and buy at £1.15 or just below.

So much for all that talk in the press by the boss over the weekend etc, it doesn't look like the city have fallen for it and the SP is going down. Maybe we will hit £2.50 after all in a few weeks.

To me this just sounds like a very poor use of words in the RNS,
I think what they are trying to say is like many other companies have said and done.
They buy their shares back from the market up to a price of £1.05 and then they put them into their treasuary.
So that in turn reduces the total number of shares on the market and as such should push up the sp of the shares that are left. So long term if you hold shares you should benefit but if you sell them in the market for £1.05 you don't have any left. Sell so and keep some. Unless I have read that all wrong.

Yes it will be great news on the next rns, all those that want to get onboard vog at 2p will be able to with the next placing and open offer, but there will be more dilution as another 25% of vog will go to the largest shareholder with their support.
So there is always a bright side somewhere.

If this goes back to about £1 I might have to top up again. and knowing pfd anything could happen.

Masybe there are a number of parties looking at this sector now. Could Lookers be next?

You have to wonder whats really going on here, OK it's a placing but just how many companies issue what approx 50% more shares to a current number of shares on issue. Normally most companies can only issue a max of 25% more.
That is one hell of a placing, but I guess it's the only way they can get the cash they need.
There could be more wrong here than meets the eye.

Same old story for all these companies , we just start to get a stable path and think we are starting to head north and wow, now the sp will be heading down to £1.15, so might as well wait

I think we have all done that, we follow a stock / read all the news / do all the research / wait for the brokers notes and some results to come out and then when we think the stock price is at it's lowest for months we buy.
Only then to find the stocks goes down even more.
Who the hell knows what's going on. I did the same with lookers and bought at 60p ish then it sort of got stuck at 64p so I thought it's going back down so this time I sold it again, so far it was the right call but more luck than anything. Where do we go now?
