The SP will start to rise to £1 as we approach the ex divi date in April. Bow is the time to get in at this low price.

It doesn’t matter if your Gobsmacked or flabbergasted , but if you have bought in at say 31p your making money no matter what your views. !!!!!!!

You guys are missing the point completly,
Investing is about getting a return so why would you invest in Saga at this SP with little prospects of making a profit in the short term and getting NO divi when you can invest in ITV . You can buy about 4 times the number of shares for the same money and have a good Divi and have the prospects of 2-3 times the SP price and returns.
OK they are completly different businesses but it's all about the best returns for your money. isn't it. !!!!!!

Is a funny old thing isn't it, when you look at some companies share price you have to wonder just what is going on.
I also hold ITV and when you look at ITV sales are up ,profit is up, divi is back and the SP is about 83p and you compare that to Saga who returns a loss ,no Divi and the SP is what £2.44 ish. I hate to say it but ITV should be £2.44 and Saga should be 84p ish. The world is upside down. Just my view but it is correct isn't it. !!!!!!!

I'd be surprised if the CEO gets voted off, in many investor views they probably think she has done a good job bringing back good profits and a divi under the current conditions.
We all know what will happen if someone else moves in, we will get another 6 months trying to decide a new plan that could deliver more than the current plan which will give us 5p+ divi in the next results.

Come on just how many posters on here that are invested in SAGA want to wait 4-5 years to make money.
My guess is the majority of are short term investors to make money within 3 -6 months, buying and selling.
Some / many will now buy at anything around the £2.-£2.20 and sell again at £2.80- £3.00 if possible.

Couldn't agree more that these are terrible results and worse than I thought they would be, it does look like it will take another year to bring these back into a group profit and in the meantime the SP could go down to £2 mark.

It's about time we had a Liquidity up-date maybe next week as last year.
Or will they wait until results which could mean bad news.

Come on now you have to be realistic, we all know that if you sell out at these prices the very next day this will go up 10p-20p. Again we all know that once you have sold and tried to make up the loss by putting your money in something else sod's law says that will then go lower than you bought. Long term you might as well just sit tight.

I think the world knows Russia has gone too far and at some point the world and Nato will say enough is enough.Nato could well be just sitting there waiting for Russia to use up the majority of it's conventional weapons ie tanks armour men in Ukraine and then when they think Russia is down enough Nato move in and finish Russia off before they have time to use any Nucs etc. only a thought.But how can you just sit back and watch 300,000 people get killed.

It's very strange when itv comes out with very very good numbers and a divi of 3.3p that JP comes out with £1.70 and I think in many posters views the sp should be higher than that.
But hey at 83p-84p it's a no brainer to buy in now and although it could go up / down a little 3-6 months it's a winner all the way.

I think reality is now coming in for all, the Cine business has nothing to do with Ukraine and all to do with the shut down in Pandemic and bad management.
The is a great bit in the Mail today about debt and even the boss says they may not be able to pay down their debt and that's before they have any outcome from court case etc. Debt is so high now and going higher due to interest increases in GB and US . So there could only be one way out and that's raise more funds and dilution, so all shareholders are / could to be locked in here for years. From my point of view it's sell now and buy back a lot later but who knows what's going to happen here.

Yes more to come , but it seems to be trapped between £1.13 - £1.40 so it's about time it went to £1.70 as brokers target price have it.

I think it goes to show there is good money to be made by buying and owning some Estate agents business, and Foxt could be one of them that might be bought soon.

I agree with you and I am NOT defending the BOD's at all it's just that we don't know what's really going on, and it looks like other shareholders are not happy either with demands now to sell the company for up to £1.
I think it's great now to see all this talk doing the rounds as it will flush out some bold moves by the bod's or even some bids. Either way it's better than the SP just sitting around the 31p-33p mark.

It might all be down to his contract, he / the bod's might have agreed to a very big pay off if they fire him before his date and they would then also have to pay large amounts to the next boss. So it could all be about cash and maybe he only has a few months to go before the end of his current contract in which case it's better to just let it run another few months.

Have we at last broken the 46p mark, onwards and upwards now to 60p

I think the bod's can see they are a sitting duck for a takeover at 70p-85p and that's one of the reasons they doing the buy back in shares in a hope to push up the SP.
So could it be 70p-85p coming soon ?
