Am I looking through the same glasses as others, ( good set of results ) all I can see is very big loss and about £11bn in debt. This will take years to pull back but the next placing / cash raise will help !!!

I think one can say totally insulated from outside the uk really, Sold off many parts of the business and now with no debt just gas sales and maintanance. We only import about 3 % of gas from Russia and I guess already forward bought for the 2022 year. So no matter what happens they will have the suoply and just put up their prices to match demand. I think it's fair to say now one of the safest stocks you can buy, ok down today because the whole market is down but that will all come back in time plus more.

I also tried to buy 10k of RR. at £1 after their good results but couldn't get the order confirmed, now theres the luck because now RR. is just under £1 so saved me some money. It's all a game.

Good morning Rox, I did sell all at 53p+ and looking to buy back in now. Have also just bought more of CNA who have moved back to no debt and big profits.
Look all stocks will be down for a while back will / should come back at some point. It's all about making small profits and moving on fast ready to strike again.

They are clearly making loads of profit and could pay a divi now but with all the fuss and help from the government about energy bills how could they justify paying a divi now, they would get blasted all over the press.
But they have said this Clear path to restart paying a dividend. So it won't be long.
It does look like they have turned the corner back into low debt and high profits, and will be interesting to see any new price targets by brokers following the city up-date. £1 coming very soon.

Really good set of results , debt down costs down profit up and looks very good for 2022/23.
If it wasn't for the Russia / Ukraine war starting we would have seen 85p ish today, but we will see £1 + over the next few weeks.

Good morning all, It seems that the biggest problem at the moment is inflation and many people running out of money or just restricking their general buys.
Now I can understand this with large buys like Cookers , TV's household goods etc and I have even been looking to get into Curry's but think they could be hit harder. But Card F have done well with their very small price tag products and so with luck shouldn't be hit as hard as the big retailers, and for that reason I think people will still carry on buying CardF products because those few pounds will not mean as much to the customers but will mean much bigger profits for CardF. Just my view and as normal will probably be wrong. but there you go.

I knew that would happen, I have waited for days for the SP to come down so I topped up at just 52p to see it go lower .

Hold your horses, we have thought this might happen in the Ukraine and that will effect the whole market, Cardf does now look cheapish but we also know that when the US opens it will now fall big time and bring down further the london market. So Card f might look cheap now but could be even cheaper later today. 50p or below !!

But the company wouldn't worry about that, they would be more interested in getting the rights away at the right price.
Anyway that may never happen, but going by the fact sheets above it looks like the results won't be released until June sometime so I hope they don't just sit on any info the shareholders need to know about or wait until June to tell us more.

But if that is going to happen what would the offer price be, 53p - 20% to get it away?

Who know's what's going on, was it the float price was too high to start with and the city think about the £1 mark is more correct. Or maybe it's something to do with the CEO having 46% shareholding and that means theres never going to be any takeover offer and the stocks too stable.
This must be worth £1.25 at least.

Who knows what's going on here we all think the SP should be going up to a good RNS and results but it keeps going down. I keep saying I am going to top up but my head says wait just that little be longer for another drop, I don't know why I am waiting for a lower price because I keep also thinking I will miss the good buy price and it will go up, but the more I wait the lower it goes so I'll just wait a bit longer. The biggest problem here and all the other stocks is still the Ukraine and it looks more likely now that this week will tell us bad news, so let's get it over and then we can move on.

I think you might be correct by H1 results, but unfortunately following the us decline on Friday and the trouble still in the Ukraine I think this will fall more on monday - Friday down to maybe 50p before it then goes back up in time.
So does one wait and buy more after the fall or buy more now on the hope it doesn't fall more.

But just where the bottom, I was going to top up at 55p but held off which looks like the right move at the moment but with the Russia thing and time of year themarket could still drop more and with it CardF. So take a gamble and top up now knowing the head says hold fire a little bit longer for 50p

Would be worth buying these if the spread would come down more.

Been looking at both of these for a few weeks AO are 25p shares looking to make a ferw million and Curry 1p shares looking to make about £100m PBT but which will go up the most in the next few months?. Play it safe with Curry or tak a bigger punt with AO ?
