To some extent I am glad the world / russia has happened because it just highlights all the rubbish that has been talked about re going green to save the planet.
We can all go green but have no jobs lives etc just because a number of do gooders want to save the world.
Now realitity has started to kick in, why buy gas / coal / oil cheap from around the world and let them have all the money and jobs while we close down all our factories but be held to ransom when they get the chance . we can still work towards going green in 50 years but now go back to standing on our own 2 feet. Go fracking, go more oild fields in the north sea, open up coal fielsds instead of buy in coal to run our power stations while we go more nuclear.
But CNA can still make good profits.

What was it about 2 years - 3 years ago this share was riding very very high with brokers giving target prices of anywhere from £4.00 to £5.00 and many were saying buy in now great prospects.
Today we are trading just under a £ and brokers now coming out with 85p ish and some saying this DOG of a share.
Strange life isn't it.

Just seen the news, I have to say that although myself and many others have lost very large amounts in vog over the years it's always sad to see this happen to all involved.
To me the only way out of this is for RSM to take over full control and ownership of VOG as payment, and I can see that happening at the end of this instead of vog finding the money over years if that's possible.
I know I have been very very negative about vog since I lost between £50k-£70k but that's life no matter how much we don't want this to happen, but when you look at your loss it's nothing against what the people of Ukraine are having to live with or not. Thank god we have love and lives to move on.

Further to the announcement on 10 March 2022 relating to the appointment of Helena Marston as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, the Company announces that due diligence checks required by the AIM Rules are ongoing and therefore Helena's appointment remains subject to completion of these checks.

Couldn't agree more, like you been invested in these for years and have for awhile considered my investment gead with no chance of getting it back.
BLVN has been no more than a shell company with no trading business at all but just paying out overheads so how can they improve things and build any cash without raising more money to keep going. Will be amazed if anything gey agreed over the next 6 months.

So why would any takeover / offer form anyone stop Cury from buying back their own shares, the whole idea of buying back your own shares is to increase the SP which if anything will increase any offer.
They are also NOT running out of money to carry this on , it's probalby just a pause for a few days / weeks.
In all honesty the SP has been under valued for a few weeks and should be above the £1 mark.

But it's taking a life time to move up, my ave is about £1.44 and after about a year i think that if it gets there I might sell and put the money in something else.

There has been talk of a takeover in the press today but it does say the government still holds a golden share so wouldn't that stop any takeover from happening .?

I remember many negative posters saying this well before the last results. ITV finished it would never get to £1 or more, but the results proved many wrong and it won't be long before the SP is well above £1.10-£1.30 again.

Only a question of time and at this price it's a steal.

It's not just their pensions that they live off, but now many will need to find another £1500-£2000 to cover just their heating and that has to come from somewhere. Many will not be going on holidays or cruises this year, or can't you see that.

With all the inflation costs and NO benefits for the over 50's regarding pensions only getting 3% against 7-8% inflation etc
there will be many older people NOT going on holidays this year, add to that fuel costs for the ships at least 2-3 times last years cost even taking into account hedging on fuel, many ships will NOT be full and profits for all holiday compnaies will be much lower for the next 2-3 years. This sector is going to be hit very hard.

You are correct in the medium to long term 6-12 months, just the point I was making. !!!

So Roger De Haan is doing everything to build value in the SP . How?
there is no Divi and at this rate not likely to be one next year. No share buy back, just waiting for the market to push up the SP.
If you buy now at this price what return are you going to get?
