Yes i / board think this was such good news they didn't want to wait until the results day to let everyone know.

So maybe now we will see the SP going back to 80p+ where it should be as it takes away any more worries.

Well that was welcome news. The best efforts commitment given by Card Factory to its banks, to raise net equity proceeds of £70m by 30 July 2022 has been removed from the revised facilities. The Board has no current intention of completing an equity raise.

So not bad, total rev up 8% for the Qtr but nothing regarding share buy back etc.
Still looks good / better for SP with luck.

Come on we all know what should be happening with these brokers, they should be made to disclose just how many shares they hold in the companies that they give price targets for.
Does Berenberg bank currently hold any ITV shares, I bet they don’t as they want to drive down the price to buy in and then once they have bought in they will suddenly put out an amended price target of say £1.10.
The whole game needs to be more transparent for the market to operate safely.

Well this board seems to have become the biggest game for predicting the lowest ITV price, but one thing is for sure and that is at these levels ITV is a sitting duck for a takeover. They have a very good cash fow and profits and can/ will turn very quickly when they turn and could be £1 within a few weeks.

OK so at the meeting Carolyn is voted off the board, the board change their minds about spending more money as investment for the long term, and some many brokers change their price targets to £1.50 and everything is coming up green in the garden. All on the back of Tom. well done. !!!!

Like most pi's it looks like Lombard has taken a gamble on the SP but for them it looks like they think the results are
going to be bad with the sp going down. But just how likel;y is that, because many have seen good sales for Card and it Lombard get it very wrong someone could be for the high-jump after big losses.

Agreed and these activists are not looking at long term , they don't care about that or want to wait for years to make profits so if they can sell the business for 70p-£1 a share they will try to do it. and why not !!!!!!

Tom I think we should re-name you as Mr hindsight, noone knew the SP would go down so much and if it didn't you would have still been going on about how rubbish ITV was, so just because of some unknown luck the sp went down so you are now milking it as much as you can.
It's NOT all about you but more about where ITV goes over the next few months, and many would say up.although I could be wrong .

The trouble is we all know what happens on prices when a broker puts out a big reduction target.
Even though many think / know a company prospects when a broker does this the SP jus goes down, wheather this SP target is based on facts or just the broker dropping the price target to make a big buy and profit later it always has the same impact.
It can take weeks to get any SP up but it can fall away in just days. What a game.!!!!!!!

Sorry you are wrong , Card Factory, the UK's leading specialist retailer of greeting cards and complementary products, will release its preliminary results for the 12 months to 31 January 2022, on 3 May 2022.
But even if they are great like Roo their shares are down so anything can happen.

Are on 3 rd May isn't this very early, OK last year they were delayed because of Covid but in 2020 they were in June so this years results are about 1 month ahead of normal.
Now does that mean they will have good news on sales /profits and Debt reduction. ?
