Going by what other companies have done in a similar position, say RR. SAGA AML and many more.
I think Cine need say £2bn, so they could issue 200bn-250bn new shares then consolidate by 100 -150 and hope to get a trading share price of about £1.
So for any current holder your holding will be divided by 100-150, so you must do the numbers.
But if it goes bust the administrators will keep most sites open while they sell everything off or close it down. shareholders getting nothing.

Hi sharebel, I cannot for the life of me see why you are positive about this.
Let's just look at the options here,
First they go bust because they cannot pay off debt. outcome you lose.
Second they raise more money to stay in business which they have already pointed out. Now this can happen over the next few days/weeks.
Outcome in their own words this will wipe out all current shareholders because there will have to be billions of new shares plus a consolidation , which will end up with new owners and maybe a new SP of 50p-£1 but you will have to buy these new shares if you want to be part of the new company. You lose.
If you think there is another outcome perhapps you can tell us all who have seen this happen many times before with many other companies.

Yes there was a point about 6 months ago where 75p-80p was a good buy in price, I bought and sold a few times always waiting for that lower buy in but now it looks better to just sit on the side-lines until march next year and see what happens. Regardless of this silly buy in price, but it seems it's only a silly buy in price in hindsight 3-6 months down the line.

No I don't give a fig about anyone loosing money in here now,the BOD's have set out a clear message to anyone that still holds shares that there will be nothing left.
I think the BOD's have done a good job in letting everyone know the position and given them a few days to get out but if many are in a dream world why should anyone else care what happens to them.

I would have thought that anyone with a high ave would sell out now and get some money back rather than NONE .
In a few days time if & when they announce a share issue /placing / bust you will be left with nothing. But maybe you just like giving money away and making out that it's only money and you don't really care if you lose it or not.

Some are also saying that Cine are still trading and making money, they haven't made any profit for god knows how long and don't look like doing so from now on.

We all know the outcome here, Cine are now in a simlar position to Debs, T.Cook and many others where the total debt is just too big to sort regardless of how much money gets thrown at it. The end game now is just let it go bust and the people that want their share of Cine will just buy it from the administrators at a fraction of what they would have had to pay to keep it in business. Day must be numbered now to a week or so. But it is fun reading all these posts from posters hoping to make millions at these prices. Already seen big shareholders selling up while they can but others still buying.
