The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
So it doesn't look like THG up-date will be next week up to 25th as their name is NOT on the current list just posted.
This from their last results only a week or so ago.
Current trading and FY 2024 guidance
· As we enter FY 2024, overall Group revenue trends continue to improve, with notable momentum in Beauty following the strategic changes made during 2023. Whilst the Yen has weakened further in Q1 2024 impacting THG Nutrition, the Group's start to the year provides us with confidence in delivering in accordance with market consensus.
So I would say everything looks like improving EBITA gains redardless of any slight dip in turnover as that is all planned for.
But of course there could be more important news regarding some partnerships. etc,
and then a big jump in SP.
· Operating cashflow is expected to remain strong, supported by profit growth and lower capex (c.£100m to £110m), which will drive further free cash flow[6] progress.
Good morning everyone, I just cannot see any point in saying he said /she said buy sell for what ever reason, we must just do what we think is right at the time.
At times we all have an idea or want for the SP to go high or low so just do what you want an no one else.
ITV is just a trading stock that if we can buy low ish and sell higher than we bought great stuff and that's it.
No jed has not sold out !!!!!
still here.
If Nutrition does get floated off then all current shareholders of THG should get 1 free new share for every share you hold in THG
Yes that's correct but it's just been on the news that the Israels have decided to act and hit Iran at some point.
So after todays Israels war cabinet meeting it now looks like Israels war cabinet and government have decided to make a reply attack on Iran when they seem ready and fit to do so.
If that happens over the next few day which is what they are talking about, surely that will hit world markets and we could see big drops in shares all round.
Could we see this SP drop down to 45p-50p, maybe selling now is a good idea.
Good morning tom, When I become older in my 80’s and a more mature person I will know what I am talking about and people will listen to me, but until then I have no idea what’s going to happen apart from ITV hitting a £1 at some stage.
Does anybody really care now about divi's, the government has killed off any divi's now for PI's with the stupid small £500 tax free allowance..
What's the point in share dealing !!!!!.
Bring back £6k-£10k tax free allowance .
So last year the Qtr1 trading up-date was on the 18th of April and could be any day now. !!!
All this talk about nothing, but what we should be waiting for now is the first qtr trading update..or sale of some parts of the business.
Sorry been doing /playing this game for over 40 years and making money and it's still the same , you can't believe anything you read in this game and it's every man / women for themselves.
Just thought I would high-light some of the games going on.
That's what you have to ask your self when you see these Broker comments.
Some brokers are saying 50p ish while Jefferies are now saying £1.05, I always thought these banker houses employed professionals and followed the same basic rules when working out a companies SP forecast , so are the guys at Jefferies professionals that have the forecast correct or dimwits that don't have a clue. ??????
New Jefferies buy at £1.05
Hi Pogo001, I have to agree with you about tom, he has now / seems to have changed his views about the Dame.
Has he now seen the light or just had blinkers on all the time.
Anyway can now see these going to £1 in 3-6 months. with luck and a gale.
So has the SP now turned for the better and we could see 63p-64p today.
So if this goes sub 70p I will buy more, simple.
within a month this should be back to 75p again.
It's true the numbers were already more or less known and they were slightly better than thought, it's just the market and traders making a quick buck when they can.
Even JP Morgan have come out today with about the same price target of 84p ish, so the SP should recover over the next few days/weeks. I hope.!!!
No I didn't tom I sold the last lot at 75p-76p and just bought back in the 70's even with com etc, so better than divi.
OK bottled it, just bought back in as I'm just not sure if it will go lower or start to rise again.
