I’m looking into which other companies have ties to the oil and gas development in the Falkland beside RKH en Navitas of course.

The only ones I know are Borders (LSE: BOR) and Westmount Energy (LSE: WTE) (indirect through shares in JHI).

Are there any other listed companies with exposure I might’ve missed?

The only way you're right is if funding and FID will be announced at the same time. This doesn't seem unlikely to me. Still, if Sam said this way before the half year report, then I'll follow the most recent news instead af your (subtle) deramping attempt.

"Having carried out the capital raise, unless otherwise required, the Company does not anticipate providing any more updates in relation to progress to FID until the point of FID itself, which is targeted to take place in H2 2025 by the Navitas (the "Operator")."

I know Sam is happy to answer shareholders questions and he also has answered a couple of mine in the past. But I'm not asking Sam, I'm asking you where/when Sam stated this. If it was with one of your email conversations with him, are you willing to share it?

Buzz, I don't recall this. When did Sam state this? And how would your statement be possible if Sam also stated that no RNS is expected until FID (except when FID and financing will be declared at the same time of course)?

I get that everyone has their own views on climate change, but this really isn’t the place for that kind of debate. We’re here to talk about the rock and Sealion, not to rehash the same climate arguments that go nowhere. Let's agree to disagree. I’m a lot more interested in what’s happening with Navitas and when we might finally see FID. My guess is it will come after the Argentine elections on October 27, and possibly be announced at the Navitas shareholder meeting on October 30th.

Personally, I find it hard to predict in the short term. It might go up (due to reduced risk, increased awareness/publicity, new investors and progress in general), it might go down (due to extra shares). Nevertheless, the general consensus seems to be £1,+. Timing wise, FID can basically happen any day. In Theory even this week. Pretty much the same as the due date of a baby. It comes when it comes

You might be right. Politically it might be wise to announce it pretty soon after the Argentine elections so it can't be used in the Argentine election rethorics and it's too early that the after election chaos is still ongoing. The Falkland elections are on the 11th of December and before that, there should be one last EXCO meeting. They are normally on the last Tuesday of the month, so I expect it will be on the 28th, but maybe they move it forward by a week. During this meeting the tax despute and formal approval for FID should be finalized

When all phases of Sealion are in production, that part could be worth between £3 or £4, but then we're 7-8 years further. Sealion sattelites, Isobel, other finds or a higher oil price could bring this to your desired £6 at one point, but definitely not in the not so distant future after FID. I love to be proven wrong, but realistically speaking, it will be somewhere between 0.70-1.50 after FID and closer to £2.20 around first oil.

Santos, I'm afraid your mistaken here. Crofts post explains part of it. The reason you don't see the actual max is because of scaling. The max chart only shows one day per month. The actual day with the max value isn't shown. Similarly, a daily high can often only be seen up to the weekly view, but will disappear in the monthly view.

A chart of the market value would be more comparable than share prices over time. Finally, I remember that during the last 7p equity raise + 9p warrants, there was no change/adjustment in the charts and there won't be an adjustment when the new shares are added. Because there will be more shares sold at a discount, it would be understandable that the share price will drop. But because on top of the money raised, extra value is created due to progress and reduced risk, the effect can either be limited or even reversed.

Longtermthinker, I believe they have a monthly EXCO meeting, so I guess there will be one more meeting before all decisions will be on hold due to the elections (Mogger will know for sure). Normally it's somewhere between the 20th and 27th.

No clue about the Q3 report of Navitas, but if they release one on Sunday with some big news, it might explain why RKH deviated from their last Thursday of September timing and will present theirs on Monday.

How and when FID will be announced is one big guess. If FIG arranged everything needed for FID last Tuesday (e.g., the interim regulations), it could mean that the last box has been ticked and that FID could be taken. If that's the case, Sunday would be the logical moment. RKH would then announce FID combined with the Q3 results on Monday, together with the open offer info.

I've never said this before (but read it so so often): I wouldn't want to be out of this during the weekend!

Agree with you longtermthinker. I also read it in such a way that FIG won't finish all regulations in time for Sealion FID and in order to not delay it, they set up some interim regulations. I'm not sure if these interim regulations have already been approved though. And it also seems like Navitas (and RKH) has been working closely together with FIG on those interim regulations. This is also why they raised more money than we previously thought in order to have a fund ready for future decommissioning.

Pandy, it seems peculiar that you received that letter on the 8th of September 2025 (I assume it wasn't 2005) because the vote was on the 16th. Brokers normally don't send letters like this, especially when it's not decided yet.

The most likely explanations are that it has either been phishing or the letter does not exist. Bigred assumes the second option, which explains his reaction.
