Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Pretty much, Bcl. Doesn’t want gold, wants coal energy, doesn’t want coal energy wants gas energy, no he meant renewables, no wait, he actually meant battery minerals.
In fact, no he meant gold all along. Complete clown.

It’s off the charts bizarre. He’s running around like a madman doing interviews galore on for Katoro and doing more press and announcements than you can shake a big stick at, yet at its parent company, Kibo? Silence. There is no way to figure out what if any strategy this guy has!

What is unfolding at KAT is what unfolded here, the usual LC pish of ‘we have no plans for a placing at this time’ was replaced with ‘this will be financing at a project level it’s not dilution at company level’ for KAT and low and behold he goes straight for the PI Shafting in throwing shares about at a massive reduction to his mates, he really has turned into a piece of work.
JD
Indeed. They gave Pieter Krugel a tonne of free shares last Feb at 1.3p:
'The Company has also agreed to issue 556,077 new Ordinary Shares to Pieter Krugel, the Company's financial controller, in lieu of overtime for his ongoing services provided to the Company (the "Additional Fee Shares") at a price of 1.3 pence each.'
JD
Correct, all the ‘up front management’ costs of KAT are being borne by Kibo’s shareholders via direct costs at Kibo PLC and Kibo are supposed to be compensated in this by receiving Katoro Gold share.
I had a look at this for an hour or so a week back, but I can’t find any reliable way to know how much BoD / Employee time is being spent by Kibo BoD / Employees on KAT business and if the shares issued to date via Mzuri Exploration Services Ltd in payment for these services are value for money.
It’s not just BoD time remember, people Louis Scheepers (COO) and Pieter Krugel (CFO) will be spending huge amount on the Blyvoor JV, the question, will Kibo Shareholders reap the benefits of that, or will there be KAT shares issued to the likes of Scheepers and Krugel direct that will be to their benefit only and miss out the Kibo Shareholder altogether?
As all things Louis Coetzee, his first response is to hide this information.
JD
They could, but not in the near term IMHO. Kibo will try an retain as much of KAT as they can. And to be fair, we probably want to retain as much of KAT as possible, it looks our best chance of any kind of rise as all the African and UK Power Generation news has run dry.
The reason why KAT has such low overheads, is Coetzee and Maree pay themselves such a low amount of money via salary (£18k each per annum from memory in the last KAT annual accounts) is that their resource is essentially leant to KAT by KIBO via a management services agreement via Mzuri Exploration Services Ltd which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kibo, that is then paid for via shares every 3 to 6 months. So Kibo will be due an extra wedge of shares coming our way for the amount of management time expended at KAT these last few months, which will be a lot.

Dave,
To a larger or lesser degree, yes, all of AIM (Main Market too) is snout in the trough, but LC has just thrown a 100% risk free return (and the rest) to Sanderson for what in return?
This is the same company that savagely sold us down (and didn’t worry about the little things like a TR1) then ‘helped us out’ with a £2m fundraise at and all time low, LC has rewarded Sanderson for this by giving them a free 100% back to say thanks. It is a spit in the face to all of us. It is savage how bent all this is. I wouldn’t even mind so much if PIs where taken along for the ride, even just a wee bit, but we aren’t.
PIs are rewarded with months of silence.

Closed to the public it would seem. No one allowed to see what’s going on. Dam completed and filled up in 2 years time PMSL. I’m assuming not a lick of Work has been undertaken.

Sage advice.
Nothings to do with the general discussion thou. Is LC a maligned genius set to prove us all wrong or is he just to two bit crook who drove the shareprice into the ground with the help of his bucket shop mates to gobble up shares in the cheap?
Discuss....
