When you go to the airport does everyone check in at one desk or go though security in a giant line through one scanner?
When you go to the football does everyone get their ticket checked at one gate?
No.....so why would that be different for this test. They would have multiple stations with multiple readers at the big venues I would assume.

You're right truth caller. MM's know that these are nervy times for PI's economically, so any chance they get to prey on that emotion they will do it. If they want/need shares, raising the price, especially in Covid stocks doesn't work as people hold on in the hope of SNG type gains in a short period of time. Drop the price crazily and people will panic sell to protect what they have left of their investment. The MM's know they have an order book to turnover those shares and they are quids in.

I really like the concept and I do think you could quite easily see one of these in every office / airport / stadium etc....that was the only other thing I couldn't get my head around in the home setting RD. What stops anyone who has covid symptoms just getting their mate who doesn't have it to do it for them at home and getting a Covid pass when actually positive? You would hope people have a conscience but there are some idiots out there. Unless you have to get tested at the venue you are going to as well, but as Paulcon said, this is way to save you the cost of a journey unnecessarily to whatever venue you are going to?

Paulcon - I guess that kind of links why the SP took a hit, the confusion caused by the twitter hype then a fairly shoddy presentation of what did seem to be a solid product. I don't disagree with what you're saying and if that is the case he needed to be much clearer on that and price points for the machine too. If he plans on everyone having one in their home, how does he expect in what will likely be an economic downturn, people who have lost their jobs etc to be forking out say £100 on a virus scanner and £3 a chip for the test.......thats why i think from a business perspective it's great - id pay £3 to be allowed to go on my holidays or to the footy, but is it really at a price point (incl a machine) where its viable to be part of day to day life?

GB wasn't clear that this needed a device which I think is why we saw the spike this a.m and a huge sell off as people realised this is going to take 5 months to be up and running and you need a machine.

Hmmm not sure id want that in my kitchen next to the coffee machine....and not exactly attainable for the working class who actually are the ones who need to be tested to get out to work if they have manual/service industry jobs.
Think he overpromised and underdelivered on what people thought would be a home testing revolution but I still think it has its place in the business space.

Exact same thing happened at AVCT - stormed up to £2.40 and then tanked prior to placing at £1.20....

Yep I see your point. IMO I think what he was trying to get across is this is going to be a new norm in daily life (going to the cinema etc) so they are making it like any part of your daily routine like brushing your teeth i.e. non invasive. Rather than some random guy having to stick a swab up your nose to be able to go on holiday.
I may be wrong, but this would be too expensive for a chunk of the population to have at their disposal but a drop in the ocean for businesses. Think AVCT's LFT pregnancy style test will be the cheap home test for mass testing

First slide very clearly suggested this device is predominantly for business to test customers and open up the economy (airlines/concerts/sport stadiums) as it needs a box to run the chip through. Avct get royalties form that and we develop the LFT for easy, home use and mass testing.

I think that could be a key observation mattynix7 - its has been shown Affimers have the ability to quickly be produced to detect various viruses. Avacta showed that with Zika and I think some water bourne virus in Congo. Really useful glenmorangie thank you! What is your interpretation of the term "new build"? Is that no future commitments to coal power stations from x date, or is that projects that have been agreed on paper but not yet under construction will no longer be supplied by them?
