"All he has to do is get them certified" - well the govt have a hand in that process in both the US and UK. Look at what the FDA did when they added the result logging via a tech based solution to their criteria for FDA approval. BBI are now promoting themselves as the people to help with that. Now my point here is that no, we are unlikely to be held to government timelines in terms of a contract but we are definitely held to their timelines in terms of what is required for regulatory approval for the mass markets.
Plus, I wouldn't rule out the possibility the govt have some kind of first refusal on purchasing the tests subject to clinical validation results. They are making big noises about the rapid LFT saliva antigen test being the key to unlocking the country and "saving the economy". Do you really think if this test is as good as we think, the govt will just pass up the chance to take every single one we can make and put it in the hands of private consumers and business? I think not.

Very good point humpalumps. I actually hadn't factored in the potential impact of trade wars from having US and Chinese involvement. The more cross border politics involved the more potential for disaster, especially if Trump gets relected and the d*ck swinging continues for another 4 years. If this can become fully Chinese we may well be "full steam ahead"

Antigua - it's quite clearly stated in the broker notes that no other targets are priced in here. H&P are updating theirs to include the bulk mining method now looking like the preferred method. That still puts the current SP below projected value for Hav alone based on current grades. Hav is still open at depth and on strike in the NW........
So to answer your question, the SP will continue to grow from here based on Hav alone. The only thing that hitting no other material targets would do (which imo seems very unlikely that will happen but yes it could) is slightly limit the current "blue sky" upside here!

Completely agree mowzerrocks - if we can get this manufactured at scale and cheap enough, it doesn’t really matter who pays for it. People will pay and I think there would be enough demand in the private sector to take up what we can produce.
You have to have a COViD test to fly to Cyprus for example at the movement. No chance of getting one from the govt. They cost ~£120 privately and clearly people are paying.
If my airline ticket cost an extra £10 I’d pay it, if I could get my business back up and running with a cheap test I would pay it.....there will be demand regardless.

O&W nobody can deny AS’s initial timelines have been missed and he was overly enthusiastic with how quickly this process could be carried out. However, I would say some are being a little harsh on him and pessimistic about the implications of this on pushing ahead with the various therapeutics pieces in the pipeline.
Avct have always been focused on the oncology space predominantly but COViD has presented an opportunity to showcase what affimers are capable of. Avct did their piece with the affimers early on. What has become very apparent is once govts get involved and start moving goalposts things get very very messy. Then you add to that the car crash of some early tests which were recalled, PR suicide for AVCT to roll anything out sub standard.
Manufacturing the test on scales that probably weren’t envisaged in the early days, reliance on third parties, changing regulatory frameworks and guidelines.....
I don’t think AVCT are to blame here for more than a bit of over optimism. To me, it certainly doesn’t show ineptitude from AS as some may suggest. You have a virus that nobody understands, an inept government and the pressures of your only alternative being national lockdowns again pressuring ridiculous dreams of moonshot.
Now in the therapeutics side. Avct understand cancer, have a business plan and aren’t playing pied piper to the govts ever changing stance. They have £40m under their belt to scale up the division and backiNg from large pharmas. I can’t see the same mistakes happening there. And imo the only mistake was saying “a few weeks” or “very soon” too much.
No doubt he has learned his lesson but when the vagueries stop, there will be people bashing the door down shouting “we need updates and timelines”.....we’ll when he tried to give them to you it didn’t work. This is a very different field to many businesses, it takes time and ultimately will have an impact real peoples lives - not something to hurry and get wrong!

There is no way GH would let this be bought out prior to MRE and if any of the additional drilling (which is being done at some pace) shows up potential sizable assets, NCM wouldn't get a sniff at a sub £1bn buyout.

LaurenLouise - can you just be quiet and go hassle some other bb. GGP is an exploration company....so by its very nature there are many unknowns. If we’re taking about Hav specifically, nobody still knows how much gold is in the ground it’s open at strike and depth.
We also have licenses that have just started to be drilled. Again, nobody knows what is under there and how much of it.
How do you expect a concrete plan for something with so many variables? GGP need to keep their cards close to their chest to get the best outcome of any situation. Show your hand and you are easy pickings.
“The plan” will change as each set of drill results comes out.

Aimofthegame - All well and good for the traders on this stock and yes, there is no doubt some material potential upside from here if that is your approach. Warrants at 0.4p so yes, 100% upside from 0.2p is not farfetched.
However, to berate LTH's and just tell them to average down is a little narrow minded. Say you have £10k in here at an average of 2p. To average down to anywhere near 0.4p would need another £50k ploughing in. Not everyone has the ability to do that, and as has been said, for a company that has delivered NOTHING to date, taking large additional exposure is a huge risk. So I wish all of you luck trading it and I am sure you will have some success....but so long as LC is still issuing equity and not delivering, you will have to put up with some moaning. It's not toxic just people expressing frustration.

TruthCaller - I think you need to get off your high horse a bit here. There are many here, myself included, who invested material sums many years ago with promises of "projects close to fruition" and "material near term revenues". Since then we have seen NO REVENUES / ASSETS GIVEN AWAY FOR BASICALLY FREE / PERSISTENT DILUTION / RIDICULOUS EGM RESOLUTIONS VOTED DOWN BY SHAREHOLDERS / SPINS OFF COMPANIES ANNOUNCED WITH NO ALLOCATION FOR EXISTING KIBO SHAREHOLDERS and off the back of that, a good number here 90+% down on that investment while the BOD still take relatively enormous salaries given they have not delivered ANYTHING.
So why don't you have some perspective on the "nonsensical toxicity".......some here have every reason to be pi**sed off at billions more shares being issues and further dilution.

Billions more shares and warrants coming to market FFS all this man does is dilute the company. Absolutely shocking. He has delivered jack all in 9 years what makes anyone think he will magically pull off some revenue generating projects in 3-4 months.

For me, I think what needs to be clarified is what “we are a long way off” from.
In my mind, having a test that works to the desired levels and is able to solve a specific problem is still progressing well. I don’t think that is a long way off. What I think is a long way off, from recent info, is having the quantity necessary to mass test the population - a number larger than any of us ever thought. It’s the production capacity/volume part that I think Bojo is referring to there, hence the contradiction. We’re on the brink of having one that works but we are a long way off having enough of them to mass screen the population and significantly slow the infection rate

You have to remember this is a company that was primarily focused on the oncology, moving at a fairly slow pace, thrown an opportunity by an unexpected global pandemic. An opportunity to produce something that has no blueprints, no guidelines, no regulatory parameters. It was completely alien for everyone.
We’re potentially on the cusp of having something UNIQUE that would normally take years produced in months. I’m going to forgive some “crap communication” (not that I agree with that statement) in that instance under the circumstances. How do you communicate progress on projects with moving goalposts....I think they have done all they can. Just the usual “is it done yet I want my money brigade”....

The only RNS we would get is a TR! if they breach 3%. However, at the current price they would only get around 2.75% of the Co for their ~£25m investment. I dont think we will see anything.
GGP have no need to RNS being included in the GDXJ, if I suddenly came into a £25m inheritance and said I am going to include GGP as part of my strategy, you wouldn't expect an RNS so its no different for an ETF buying shares.
