And I say this in all sincerity. I have seen many of your comments on other stocks, and I get the impression you are quite nitty-gritty in assessing the stocks you hold. My feeling has always been that this company should go private with a buyout run by the senior and backed by the management team. The disparity between the SP and broker forecasts is startling.

Carrington is right. I would not allow my son to be conscripted in the event of war. This country is just about salvageable with a right wing government but that is debatable. The rot is too deep. Millions on benefits or directly/indirectly working for national and local government and hundreds of thousands (probably millions) who should not be here at all. Successive governments have built up 'client voters' who suck on the teat of taxpayers' money.

The hard yards are behind. With current valuations MKS must be an easily digestible acquisition. If I were Stuart I would be talking to the biggest holder, Blackrock about financing a buyout and take the co private. It would Stuart and team a huge incentive. Being listed is not much fun
