svend, i would love to agree with you. great britain seems to have imported a religious variant of such extremity that it finds it difficult to co-exist with other religions. we never hear of judaism, christianity, sikhism, hinduism, buddhism wanting to set up special courts. nor do these religions demonise *** people or restrict the role of women. followers of these religions don't expect special treatment. there is a very good reason why certain me states will not allow their students to study in the uk and it revolves around their fear of radicalisation. this is unsurprising when they read of the terror attacks carried out in the name of allah that beset our country. many of the followers of extreme islam that populate this country would not survive in most muslim countries: they would be perceived as a threat to the stability and security of the state. there i go again...criticising others for going off topic and doing it myself !

Mark RS...beautiful thoughts but ungrounded in the reality of life. It is nothing to do with world leaders but all to do with creating havoc within a traditionally stable society. If you allow a certain religion to impose its backward ways and culture on a country and allow millions of illegal immigrants to enter you can expect trouble. I know, having complained about going off topic I do so myself but we are the architects of our own misfortune.

Richardduk, I hope you are right. I am v cautious. Not because I don't think RR is a tremendous company but because we are in a very serious state of global flux. This is the reason people are flocking to the hopeless dollar. I just feel the next weeks will be headless chicken days

His Holiness, St Ford-such a gentle, soulful person that he never levels insults at those who disagree with him but always ready to turn the other cheek when his enemies(always sensible people) attack him. He would never invest in a company like RR which produces engines and equipment for the warfarers.

I do wish we could stick to the core topic of RR. If I want lessons on the morality (or lack of it) of world leaders, I listen to sermons. The opinions on world leaders vented here are of no interest and those making the totally off-topic meanderings just distract and annoy.
