Morre tedious nonsense from Ford. There is not one civilised country in the world that allows the type of population invasion that this small island turns a blind eye to. Most countries have severe punishment for illegal entry. Legal immigration is another matter. We are allowing in-legally those who are quite incapable of contributing to the development of society. The reasons are myriad. Most importantly, because neither the skills we need nor the ability to integrate. Retirement ....My gold is not for sale: it was bought as a hedge several months ago. It is there to protect my family if there is a global emergency. I have separate views on investments...fine co's like RR are one thing....physical gold the other...oh and I pay no tax on my gold now and in the future.

If any comfort...Retirement sneered at me for selling £200k worth at around £3 and my regret for doing so. I did so as I had too much exposure. I could come back in at this level but old hands here always say don't have too many eggs in one basket-advice I heeded. RR is a magnificent company. Why are you all moaning? It will come soaring back. I would love to buy more but I just want to have more spread. Having said that I am sorely tempted. No other FTSE 100 co has the appeal of this beast
