Not really, retirement. I had too many eggs in one basket. Unlike a show off billionaire like you with a stream of fit partners; fleets of super cars and endless Saga cruises I have to keep a beady eye on my portfolio. I have a good hedge in gold which has delivered £180k in 4 months with no CGT so that helped untwist my knickers

Tim, I admit I did sell a few. I had around £250k's worth and, having had a real battering a year ago wanted to play safe. I am now at a more sensible level and trying to get a better-balanced portfolio with better exposure. I would go for IAG but I just feel nervous. V difficult at the moment

You completely miss my point. It was directed at those solemn and pious people here who talk about greed etc being the root of all our issues yet being invested in RR. As far as I am concerned I don't try to climb to the moral high ground: I am an investor in Bae and Melrose!

My conscience is not in the least troubling me but those who complain about greed etc ruining the world would have, I assume, a conscience about being invested in RR. I suggest you consider the nuance of my comment!
