Jumped in today. Some building blocks being put in place but it is likely to be an erratic path to renewal and enhanced earnings but I can wait.

The premium is reducing but that is no bad thing. I try and think of GLIF more like a defnesive stock with a strong dividend yield within my portfolio. But if some among its multiple paltform investments come good, it could start behaving as a growth stock, and I'd see that as a bonus rather than 'as expected'

It is getting closer to my updated 228p top-slicing target. But it also has a history of retracing the following day on large climbs from the day before.

From the Annual Results Report: "The proceeds of sale of the Company's holding in FOIF was used to reduce the level of our loan facility, and the term of the remaining amount of GBP13.525m has been extended to 15 June 2015."

I'm deliberating between adding more EMG and/or adding more AV.

Recent acquisitions delivering value and extension of its cost-cutting agenda will be fundamental in sustaining the upward momentum, IMO.

As an alternative, Coca-Cola Enter (0P46) is pretty quiet. But I'm still assuming the LSE BB guys are not efficient in deleting delisted ( as opposed to suspended) shares.

Today's RNS says merger complete and new company listed on Oslo exchange from tomorrow. I assume LSE will keep this Golden Ocean's page going but you guys will know better. Let me know if you switch to another cave.

GS, I'll not have talk of you jinxing EVR or any other share! Remember it was you guys who kept me in AV. Hot - totally right about the brokers being off on EVR and I faintly suspect it will continue to prove them wrong for a wee while longer - I'll be looking for a break above the resistance level you have suggested

GS, Hot - thanks for your info and views. Think I'm now clear about moving on from VOD. My biggest decision is around EVR, so need to make up my mind before year's final results on 1st April ( an omen?!) £2 a share seems to be a ceiling but I'm taking some comfort that they should have issued a profits warning if Ukraine/Russia troubles had impacted heavily and negatively on earnings. Wasn't able to hit the sell button when it met my 174p target - good/bad greed?

VOD's immediate prospects in terms of earnings look limited though it's cash-flow is still strong. More inclined to shift my patience with it towards future patience with Woodford's Patient Capital Trust

Selling out of AIE, already added some more of Unicorn UK Income A, still undecided on VOD,

Wonder what the results next week will look like? And if and when this will break the £2 per share ceiling?

I wish too that I had bought extensively when this plunged and loitered in the sub-£1 zone. I just waited and waited on my initial holding, collecting the dividends and now my original investment is almost 100% up with reinvestments. Also waited patiently and gained well on Aviva. Trying to do the same now on JIL, MPO and VED - fingers crossed!
