Finally back in the black with my holding. Will wait for a few more days or weeks and then cash-out. Feel like I want at least some modest return for my patience. No dividend in sight for years ( I reckon) and it's still a tough market, so no guarantees about their 2019 and 2020 forecasts.

Any news or thoughts on the DoJ investigation?

Thanks for update, GS. HZM is dead in the water until 2nd quarter of next year, so no chance of an unexpected race up the table to beat ZOO. Have added some more of SAGA and ITV in my real holdings.

Slubby, a million dollars is not even popcorn money to GLEN. If ( and that is a massive if) they are involved in keeping the price down, it would be for a much bigger reason. Personally, I think that they are way-off deploying trader or management attention in HZM beyond waiting for the FS like us - imo, they just have a much better ability to anticipate and analyse what the FS will lay out and if/how HZM may contribute to its much wider portfolio of interests

Wilson was a distinct improvement from most, and helped Aviva out of a difficult period, through making many good decisions in his first two to three years to refocus the business and build FCF and reserves. Views of performance are shaped by the timeframe and context of investments. I got in sub-£3, so am pleased with my overall return (including reivested dividends) under Wilson. Others can rightly feel frustrated because they start from a different point.

Still a long way to go in its turn-around, methinks, especially on the freight side. I guess many are sitting on large paper-losses and hoping for the share price to at least triple from here.

FT article talks of a consortium investing $700m to produce nickel for EVs. Plant on island of Sulawesi to produce 50k tonnes a year of battery-grade nickel. Consortium expects shortage of nickel after 2020. Wonder if those plans will be frozen or changed in light of the devastating and deadly tsunami that has just hit that island.

I'm anticipating a muted response to the DFS. And then a slow and very uneven climb over 12 months. Should it re-rate significantly and speedily upwards, I'll be very pleased and surprised.

The following is the first line from the Chairman's statement in the last RNS: "The first half of 2018 has been an exciting period for the Company, with the feasibility study on our flagship Araguaia ferronickel project now nearing completion". So news will be issue relatively shortly. I've added a few bob to my holding and expect a RNS with the feasibility study results by end of September,but even if it comes later, that is no problem.

Optimus, good afternoon. Been distracted with too much work of late and haven't made any new investments beyond what I mentioned last. Only added to ITV and to HZM in recent days. AUM and performance across its funds remain at good levels

Optimus - I'm based in east Africa but bounce around south Asia a bit. I don't do pub lunchs here! GS - I looked at some of the Polar Capital funds for a while yet chose to go instead into LIO as a whole ( and not one of their funds) about 2 years ago. Just selling out of Unicorn UK Income at the mo, so will take a look at Fundsmith Equity. Have prevaricated for years over Baillie Gifford Shin Nippon thinking it is too high but it just keeps on climbing - arggh!!!

GS, I had CNS last year and had suggested HZM this year. As to the year ahead, still mulling my thoughts.

Optimus, GS, I think I am going to add to my AV. holding after just sitting still and watching its value grow over the years. The CEO and team continue to make progress on cost-cutting, massive cash generation and investment in growth opportunities, and the market and some detractors will catch-up at some point. In the meanwhile, the divi and the increasing payout of it, continues to give comfort. All rather a weak excuse for still not having learnt how to trade and do all that whizz-bangy CFD/options stuff!

And today's RNS with all the detail is good. The Board and investment team seem solid.

GS - do you have a view on what is driving the low p/e of IAG at this point? On the surface the yield and potential sp growth look attractive. I've given them some of my money to get back to Blighty for 10 days from this weekend - from Heathrow T3 to Cumbria, Oxford, Bristol. I wonder how Virgin Trains will compare to BA?!
