Dodge, I don't disagree we are closer. It will be interesting to see full year results and whether the CEO will make another reference to what is needed in "establishing a more robust business model", or whether there will be any courageous projection about when CNS may turn EBITDA positive.

If and when it gets to 20p, I may get excited. I remember where it was almost 30p four or five years ago. Good company but lots more patience required. When will it get to profitability and to a possible point where a significant bid comes in for it....?

Owlo, I was not trying to suggest any blame or responsibility around a possible delay in announcing a financing deal. I was merely suggesting that I have taken a cautious position and currently do not expect any announcement in Q3 that a comprehensive financial package has been concluded. There are lots of reasons why I could be wrong.

djryan, I think both the CEO and Chairman have softly hinted at the possibility of delays to the finance deal ( from the wider impacts of Covid on doing business). And given HZM has some past form of its envisaged timings not being met in practice, I'm starting from the assumption we will not see a coherent, concluded financing package unveiled until deep into Q4 at the earliest.

Good RNS, good rent colelction, good pipeline of opportunities and good approach to managing financial headroom. BBOX doesn't bring worries like many over companies in my portfolio. Maybe a time to add a few more....

Craigie, Wasarunner - good points. Thanks for sharing. Lots of variables in play, I see. I'm optimistic ( hence my holding) but I'm not as strident/courageous/certain as some. That said, I hope we are all richly rewarded for our continuing patience...

Interested to hear people's views on why the market is valuing HZM at less than a 1000th of the nickel value in its district. Is the market saying that the financing deal is not going to happen or will be on terms very unfavourable to existing investors? Or is the market, contrary to Orion's measured optimism, passing judgement on HZM's ability to execute even the first phase build?
HZM is 11% of my ISA portfolio but I don't see it ( because on past experiences with miners and lots of time spent in Brazil) as a one-way bet. I plan to add a few more £k (on the back of news) but I don't have the confidence or is it craziness to put the lion's share on my money in it. How to manage risk/greed and when to bet significantly against the market?

They are hinting that they are going to be a global player, with the next set of deals they hope to close. Let's see if those deals are landed and to what extent they transform the profitability of the company

There were buys...it is just that this website is reporting them as sells. I see my own buy of £5.9k from earlier recorded as a sell.

I think that is already a "Yes"

It is evident from the current share price that the market does not believe or agree with the current proposition surrounding HZM's plans. I'm not sure if the skepticism is around the build financing, NPV nmbere, the management team, local risks or other things I can see. But it is a mistake just to dismiss the concerns as being irrational and not to think about what they might be and what it will take for the market to revise it's views.

I set my mind quite a while ago to the PFS landing on 30th September. Will I be upset or surprised if it is "late"? No. Much more interested in the content than the timing of the PFS. Will I be upset or surprised if the share price goes down in immediate reaction to the PFS? No, given what I have seen before. Not adding, not selling...content with the portion of HZM in a more diversified portfolio. More interested in and patiently waiting for next year's RNS about the financing arrangements for phase 1 build.

They don't look bad....hope the transformation process can continue to deliver significantly improving financials.

I've set my mind to the Vermelho RNS landing on Monday 30th September.

Interesting comment by the auditors at the end of the annual report and accounts. Let us see how things go for this second half of the year in terms of new contract wins and cash burn. Half-surprised the CNS hasn't yet been the subject of a modest bid

Let us see if and how they continue to perform. Bought in as a move to have some exposure to some unlisted assets as well as to diverse my portfolio a bit better.
