At the last results call made it clear the direction of fundraising is by ABS, a good market and DEC well thought of. So more deals wouldn’t be a surprise. Hopefully 2025 will see long suffering holders recoup some more of those capital losses.

So much for the months of conspiracy theories that it’s the shorts keeping the SP down 🙈

Current yield at this SP still 7.4% after 15% withholding tax drops to 6.4%. Nothing exceptional for the risk . Looks range bound now. Can’t see it breaking £13 for a long time

It’s more than the dividend and we won’t have the US to bolster the SP as it’s Thanksgiving. The LSE has little benefit moving forward as more trading/ liquidity moving to the NYSE. At some stage the dual listing has to become pointless and an expensive exercise ?

An imbecile ,and a rude one at that, is someone that completely misreads something. DEC’s focus is on Institutional Investors who obviously care about the SP and dividend. You’d have to be an utter cretin to misread my comments. I’d certainly not take any advice from an imbecilic cretin who can’t read properly

You’re not bruised or angry but you are extremely frustrated 😂. Says it all. I’m glad you’re trading your way out of your losses. My current delusion is we have better times ahead at least for the next 4 years riding the Trump energy agenda.

The markets don’t give a toss about what we think. The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent. If you really think the management of these businesses give a monkeys about private investors then you really shouldn’t invest. They are only interested in the institutional investors and the ability to fund future acquisitions.

If you’ve been invested so long you know the risks associated in any financial market as well as DEC. I have never claimed to be an expert. I can tell you are financially very bruised from what has happened to your capital but you can’t blame Management for it all . Hopefully you’ll claw back your paper losses . Personally I feel Rusty & Co are very aware of the importance to restore shareholder value and everything they are doing is for that reason. We have to keep the faith and look to the future. Looking back in anger gets us nowhere investing

Keep the faith. Sadly we can’t pick all winners. Even the best fund managers don’t. Hopefully your other winners have compensated for your paper losses currently with DEC. No point trawling over what’s happened with DEC as we all know it. Some out of Managements control and some not. DEC strategically buying assets and getting more out of them long term is their business. All their acquisitions have been well purchased ( excuse the pun ) with good returns . It was obvious to them that the LSE has no future hence the US listing which is also the future for ABS. American funds would not buy into any business with a dividend so high as it was. Anyway hopefully the Trump trade continues and you get into positive capital returns or at least enough to break free

Nat Gas still rising and broken through a key resistance level of $3.20.

Obviously the truth hurts from a long term holder who has put his money on the line in an investment he believes in. That’s what long term investing is all about. Nothing presumptuous , arrogant or relative to posting history.

Longer than you my friend since the IPO in 2016 . I have Reaped the huge dividends and accept the highs and lows of the SP. I have 26,246 shares in this business and has been a great investment as a long term holder. The business strategy is and always has been sound with the hedge which has always been risk adverse. The acquisitions have been cheap and cash generative. ABS so clever . Smart asset management and cost control exceptional . If you understand how these rotten markets work it’s all about fear to get you to sell cheap. Shorters no different. So don’t invest in the markets as a novice . The shorts know absolutely nothing about any business apart from market manipulation . If you believe in the management they will redound and react to create more value as they are doing

Nat Gas on a tear up nearly 6%?

Why don’t you work it out ? Price at time of acquisition was 930. Makes it an even better deal for seller , buyer and shareholders . Everyone has won . We bought the assets super cheap , the buyer made at least 25% more on the sale if sold and shareholders get big financial shareholder uplift. One day this group will realise Rusty and the Management team know what they are doing and stop focusing on these short positions ( really who cares ) and look at the value and potential being created

The UK having less and less effect on the SP. The Us will account for an ever-greater proportion of the company’s shares and trading liquidity.

House Broker Tennyson out with research note this morning on 3rd Qtr results. All very positive on the future pathway to improve shareholder value as has been highlighted. Since US listing Uk ownership has sold down and now 35% held in US.
