It’s good to see a broader coverage of DEC emerging (Hopefully caused by Rusty et al’s investor roadshows) rather than House Brokers. Also they are focusing on all the good stewardship elements of the Business and opportunities for added value moving forward rather than the FUD about ARO’s. As we know SP’s don’t go up in a straight line , however , we are seeing better highs and lows with buyers coming in. US end was $16.88. Let’s all keep positive about the year ahead. What’s done is done 😂

If you read the KeyBanc article they give this opinion about the drop since Friday.

This misjudgment was attributed to the market associating Diversified with Consol Energy (NYSE:CNX)'s recent 18.8% drop after reconsidering its hydrogen plant plans due to changes in 45V tax credit regulations by the Treasury Department.

The decision to reduce the dividend had already been taken as part of their preparations for the US listing and in discussion with US institutional Investors. They knew II’s wouldn’t buy in at that dividend.

Anyway Terry . We’ll agree to disagree. I see hope for the future as do a few analysts.

KeyBanc likes DEC and the market imo has completely misjudged the recent acquisition opportunity and the value of the business. Hence we have no control over the market.

Leveraging the acquisition strategy isn’t going to change. The business has had to adapt to the realities of a changing market and lower gas prices. If they had carried on paying the huge dividend they wouldn't have been able to list in the US and we would have been even more at the mercy of the shorts , the LSE and we saw where that took the SP. The shorts revelled in the FUD of not being able to maintain the Dividend. Personally I believe we would have been in a significantly worse position than now. However that’s just an opinion like we all have. The only crystal ball we have is how it is today and we are in good shape to take advantage of all the opportunities presenting themselves to DEC. We have no control over the SP. Up and down she goes 😂

That strategy you suggest would appear to work . Trouble is we don’t know when the acquisitions are announced.

DEC is a unique business model. It’s unlike any other publicly listed oil and gas company . As we know it only grows by acquiring mature natural gas wells that individually have limited value , but in aggregate have significant value.

The reality is that it creates growth and shareholder value on a regular basis through well-priced,

value accretive acquisitions. So nothing is going to change on the acquisition front

Not certain if link can be opened but a very positive assessment from Zeus Capital of DEC over the next 10 years to 1.Repay debt 2. Keep ahead of asset retirement 3. Pay Dividend

These are all added value revenues on top of smart asset production. It was apparent to me from the 3rd Qtr Conference call they are totally focused on looking at all areas to improve the shareholder value as way below true value.

As we know the Markets can remain irrational longer than we can remain solvent. Hopefully we can ride this out and get out without loss and ahead with dividends. Probably got to be patient for another year at least. 4th Qtr update should be positive plus the Trump trade 👍

The US listing opened us up to a whole new audience of investors that have also helped raise and support the SP which in turn has squeezed the majority of shorts out. Of course Trump has helped so let’s be positive about that and that DEC getting into much ruder financial health with big add on opportunities. Nobody is point scoring here

Jim and Worya sum it up nicely. I understand your frustration as I still need +25% SP from here to break even on my paper Capital loss. Many of us in the same boat but all you are doing is venting your gripes which we’ve heard many times b4. Achieving nothing with respect.

DEC had to change strategy to achieve the US Listing and get US Institutions on board . That is now working and if Rusty hadn’t the SP would have been in significantly worse shape than it is today and hopefully much better this year. There are so many positives going for DEC this year and the best would be to get shot of the LSE listing which is a millstone round our neck. Yes Rusty has made mistakes . We all have done in business. This acquisitions hopefully shows he’s learnt as imo very positive. GL to all and let’s be positive 😂

OB all over the acquisition and spot on as usual. Plenty of upside and a good bolt on.

Sooner we get off this pitiful LSE the better.
