Financial conditions seem to be improving with lower expectations for bankruptcies, rampant house price inflation (makes historic books of equity release mortgages carry lower capital requirements as LOan to value declines).

Update....having read a little more about extended access protocols, it is possible to charge for access with FDA approval....however I suspect the smarter course of action is to build a limited presence with free to patient supply until marketing approval is obtained. If it gives benefit they will start paying.

Compassionate use (expanded access protocol) is in place.
This should allow some practitioners to start prescribing. While unlikely to be large numbers it starts the sales and gains a foothold in the hospital environment in advance of full approval.

I admire your optimism. I would like to see the SP in the 120s after the Q1 sales update and reach 150 with the HY results.
This is still about capital and they are nearly at the point of restarting a dividend. I think this will happen with the FY21 results rather than the interims.
While I would like to see 200 on a bid, I will be v happy with 170 this time next year.

Longodds, thanks for picking me up. I meant that the results from tagrisso studies have been impressive and probably better than expected several years ago in terms of overall survival and disease control rate.
Overall I think it is unclear whether Savo sales will be bigger than previously anticipated if the use of Savolitinib is delayed, this will be offset by the expected larger number of cases from a higher market share. from an AZ perspective the longer durations on tagrisso mean they need Savo less urgently.
Savolitinib has been in registration intent studies for several years now yet its value in the sum of the parts analysis of trinity delta has been falling. I hope your potential outcomes for Savannah and Break through designation come true.

Johnam, the easiest thing to do is to read the trinity delta research note that Davey posted a link to a few posts ago. There is a Savo section and you can cross reference that to the company presentation slides.
The short answer is that these trials are well known, the market will only react when the study completes and it can then include or zero the value from that study.
Azn own Savolitinib, Hutchmed will get development milestone payments and royalties on sales. At present Savolitinib appears to be something of a backstop for tagrisso. This is a double edged sword as the better Tagrisso performs the less need there is for Savolitinib.

Good to see AZ is progressing its oncology and respiratory programs and getting recommendations to market.

Savo met exon14 approval mid year in China, surufatinib for pancreatic net in China expected late in the year.

Surufatinib NET submission complete in US in H1 and EU during H2. Unclear when these mechanisms will complete, possibly not this year even with priority and rolling submission.

Lots of intermediate pipeline news possibility of some data read outs in stage 2 studies. 689 flagged for potential early regulatory dialogue.

On the corporate side the GA is due to make a second investment - likely at current levels of the SP. we can but hope for new/changed listings. Name change becomes effective after the AGM.
HY report will mostly focus on sales of sulanda and Elunate. A full year sales upgrade would be v helpful.
